  1. Just wanna say that's one beautiful collection, man. I don't even collect Atari 8-bit but that made me want to. Well done.
  2. Must clean! Must downsize! Must work! Must... man, when was the last time I played Wizard of Wor? *rest of day disappears*

  3. Finding still MORE TI carts as I clean the place up. Gotta clear out some excess. Instant collection starters, or at this price you could just harvest the shells for homebrew carts. I have several of each of these lots. Several carts have small writing on shell, or wear to the label. 4. I have two TI Color Monitors, for the TI 99/4A nut who wants a fully stock system. One works but has a blurry screen with a lot of color bleed. The other powers on, but nothing else happens. I'm not a hardware guy and I know I'll never get around to fixing these, so I'd like to clear the space they're taking up. My hope is to 1) find someone who wants to trade for them and get them to a good home, and 2) find someone in the midwestern USA I can drop them off to. I live in Toledo, Ohio and I travel throughout the midwest for work. If you're in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky or Pennsylvania, there's a good chance I could be in your area in the next several months. I collect for a number of systems. I'd trade these for some carts, a working Atari 7800, some books and mags... I'm not expecting a lot. I'm mainly just trying to make sure these avoid the trash and hopefully get a second shot at life, and doing a little housecleaning in the war room. If anyone's interested, shoot me a message. Thanks! Keith
  5. Bump - just found more of these while sorting other stuff. $25 plus shipping gets you all five games. I have two lots of 5 available.
  6. I have to confess... I HATE this game. I have never gotten the hang of it and I never want to play long enough to try. I'm still trying to crack 100,000 in MunchMan again. :/
  7. Knowing they're fixable, and that I probably never will, is anyone interested in trading these for something? I'd rather they get fixed and put to good use. I'm in Ohio and travel for work, so if you're in the midwestern USA I may be able to drop them off at some point this fall - or I would be ok with shipping them if we can work something out. Shoot me a message if you're interested, let me know what you have. I'm really interested in cassette and disk software, and I collect stuff for other machines as well.
  8. I'm trying to downsize and get rid of anything I'm not actually using in my war room, and I'm giving up on the dream of a 100% stock 99/4A system for the moment. I have two TI Color Monitors -- they look the same to me, though one's a 1982 and one's a 1983 model. One doesn't come on at all - the red indicator light comes on, but there's no audio or video. The second works okay, but not great - the colors blur and the images are fuzzy enough to make playing a game like MunchMan almost impossible. The audio is also touchy, with crackling and dropouts when you adjust the volume knob. I can't stand to just pitch old TI stuff, but are these fixable (or worth fixing)? I'm not a hardware guy at all -- I'm not the man to make any repairs. I just don't know if I own two old paperweights, or if it's worth looking into fixing them, or swapping them out to someone for parts or repair.
  9. Not gonna win this competition, but I'm pretty happy to finally beat the 100,000 mark. I got greedy after level 21, when the Hoonos started lining up for easy picking, and I didn't think about how much ground I still had to cover while I was wasting those seconds eating them.
  10. Yeah, level 22. I'm gonna give it one shot tonight to get over 100,000 then it's back to work.
  11. New personal best but still not good enough... trouble is, after one game like this I'm too frustrated to play again for a while!
  12. One more week of work project and then I have time to get my war room organized... 15 systems set up and ready to play!

    1. Spacey Invader

It's gonna be a groovy Fall

  13. Nice lot of five "new old stock" Bally Astrocade games: Galactic Invasion, Star Battle, Grand Prix/Demolition Derby, Bally Pin, and Brickyard/Clowns. All have a very little bit of shelf wear. $30 plus shipping takes them. Shipping is 2 pounds, Priority Mail from ZIP code 43614. (International shipping ok as well). Not interested in selling them individually at the moment. Thanks for looking!
  14. I'd been neglecting the real iron. Fired it up and realized my old TI Color Monitor is in awful shape. I could barely make out the Hoonos! Gonna try a different monitor tonight, or maybe even an old TV set. Unrelated: anyone wanna buy a "gently used" original TI Color Monitor?
  15. Bump! Still have some bulk lots of 5 if anyone needs cart shells.
  16. Didn't get to the iron today but got in a few more games on keyboard. Slow and steady...
  17. 66,700 with keyboard on emulator. Tomorrow we try the real iron.
  18. You're right, I'm an idiot. I'm going to bed, pix in the morning.
  19. Clearing out some old boxes of stuff, I found two MP1000 carts: MG1005 (Brickdown/Shooting Gallery) and MG1009 (Casino/Slots/Roulette/Keno). Both are clean with light wear. Brickdown has a Montgomery Wards price sticker on it. They're both untested, both loose. Just checking on rarity and interest in them. I'll post pictures later today. Keith EDITED: because I'm dumb.
