There have been more Cuttle Cart 2's for sale in the last couple of weeks since they were originally released. Could this be a sign that the Harmony Cart 7800 is very close.
-
I have considered this and may get the stella adapter some day. For the time being I enjoy playing the ROMS using a Krok cart and my video arcade II. I also have the Harmony cart on order which I can use on the 7800. I grew up playing Atari on a four switch woody and would also like to reacquire one of those.

I've never heard of rom collecting. Theres no sport in that! lol. Do what you want i don't care. There are no rare roms as i know. If there is a rom, it will be on Atari age. Again i don't know because i don't use emulators. Thelonelyalien Oh don't get me wrong, it sounds cool and I love computers. It's just, I don't see the sport in it. It like if you go dear hunting but there all in a box and your up on a scissor lift in the middle(I don't go hunting by the way). I like the feeling of having a game in my hand and sliding it in to the Atari 2600. I like sifting through flea markets, looking for that one system, that one game. Just the feeling of going back to the past 80's or the 70's with a cartridge just makes me feel good. However people who don't like spending money or just want to play the games should use emulators. I just don't think there's any sport in it. Do what makes you happy though. You have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. TheLonelyAlien I would prefer to collect the actual games if possible as well. I live in a area with a small population which limits my collecting abilities. Buying items on E-BAY gets expensive with the cost of shipping in Canada and the items received are usually left overs. Collecting ROMS is the next best thing.

Here's my collection: http://www.atarimania.com/rom_collection_archive_atari_2600_roms.html It's the best documented VCS ROM collection in the world. It will soon be updated to V6. I do have a few old era ROMs that are extremely rare, but I promised not to spread them yet. Thank You, very nice collection.

Some Roms that I had difficulty finding were the Ebivision games. I still have not been able to get the Stella's Stocking Rom.

Thanks for your reply. I am getting ready for the arrival of my Harmony cart. I would like to have my games ready to load up when it arrives. I have about six hundred as it stands.

I have only recently started seriously collecting 2600 Roms. I was just curious as to which Roms would be considered rare or difficult to find.

So it seems as though I am out of luck if I want to play more paddle games. Unless of course I rewrite a few games from scratch.

Very excited I just purchased a Harmony cart. Sold off my Sean Kelly Multicart and used the proceeds to purchase the Harmony. My Krok will be up for sale soon enough if anyone is interested.

Have there ever been any Joystick games converted to Paddle controllers. Gremlins comes to mind as a game that would work well with paddles although there are many others. As far as I know Paddle controllers are unique to the Atari 2600 and I believe they could and should have been better utilized.

Your pics remind me of Christmas 1983 when I received Galaxian from Santa(I was a good boy that year).

I am not a computer whiz but from what I see this flash cart looks to be on the up and up. Check out this site I found www.krikzz.com and let me know what you think.

I would buy a Harmony cart but I only acquired the Krok cart last year for $200 and my wife wouldn't be very happy if I shelved it this soon.

I bought what might be one of the last old fashioned televisions from WAL-MART about five years ago. It is a 19 inch GE television which cost around $300 Canadian at the time. It weighs about 75 pounds which is just ridiculous. I use it for my 7800 and it works great with the Atari XE light gun. Maybe you could track down one of these babies to solve your troubles.

Thank you for all of your comments. I think I will hold off until the 7800 Harmony is ready.

I have a krokodile cart and was wondering if there is any advantage of getting a Harmony cart as well. Is one better than the other or are they both equally good. I have also heard talk of a 7800 version of the Harmony which I would buy since my Krokodile cart is not compatable with 7800 games. Any thoughts or comments are welcome and appreciated.

The video arcade II is my favorite Atari console. I hate switching controllers and the duel controllers solve this problem. It also provides easy access to all the buttons which are used in certain games(Select/Reset-Quest for Quintanaroo) for example.

What is your weapon of choice for 2600 games?

The Video Arcade II is my favorite as well(Don't have to switch controllers for Paddle/Joystick games). -

Is the cart difficult to use as I am not very computer savvy. I would want to use it as a multicart and I am interested to know where I would find the ROM's. Are the ROM's free or do you have to pay for them? Also my computer is around five years old, would it support the cart and the Rom's. My computer has 1.69 GHZ 376 MB of RAM. Microsoft Windows XP. Thanks -

I am interested in the Krokodile cart however I have never purchased anything from the marketplace before. I do have a paypal account but I don't really know where to go from here.
