  1. Ah, well that would be a problem then. I don't know about any Mac stuff, Cameron Kaiser might be able to help with that but for Linux there's cbm4linux which may work like Star Commander for Linux. Not sure though since I'm not a Linux user either, but hopefully that ought to help. Also, Plus/4 World does have a forum. I'd imagine one of them might have something too.
  2. No luck? Both sites have programs for download. If the ones you downloaded aren't in .d64 disk images just use Star Commander or 64copy to put the .prg files into a .d64.
  3. Erm, have you tried Plus/4 World yet? Also, comp.sys.cbm has a lot of Plus/4 people. Not to mention that Maurice posts to comp.sys.cbm about the status of the VIC-20 and Plus/4 JiffyDos updates.
  4. It would appear things have been sorted out and Lemon64 is back online. Oop, it appears at the moment only the forums are back. But no reason why the rest of the site shouldn't follow soon. Edit: It's down again probably for a short time. No doubt it be back up again soon though.
  5. No, it wasn't hacked nor I don't think was it a hosting problem. What apparently happened was a situation between a few members and a few moderators. Kim has stated that he's on the way of solving it. Link to Lemon64 thread at Lemon Amiga about the situation: Here Garak
  6. True. I'm thinking it wasn't long enough perhaps or maybe the Pizza Hut got a new machine in with a different mechanism by the time we had tried. Garak
  7. Years back in junior high, a friend of mine heard that you could get freeplay at the arcade game (for the life of me I can't recall what game it was) at the local Pizza Hut by sticking a table knife down the coin slot. So, one day we decided to try that. We ordered something inside to eat while waiting for the bunch of people who were near the alcove the game was in to move off. Finally, the coast was clear. My friend and I went over to the machine and he carefully slid the table knife out of his shirt sleeve (yep, like he was on some covert spy mission or something). So we stuck it down the coin slot and jiggled it around. Nothing happened so we tried it on the other slot and still nothing happened. Ah well. Garak
  8. Mine would be: "Miner 2049er Volume II" (7) Garak
  9. There isn't anything that resembles a sense of humor on Cardassia. Garak

  11. No, it isn't dead at all. The newest release (v0.21) came out on September of last year. It still is being updated currently albeit slowly. At least the C64/C128 versions are being worked on. Link: LUnixTNG Possibly. Now if one looks at the Contiki OS however... Garak
  12. In Pennsylvania you can. Only one plate is required and that's the back one. Anything else could be put on the front. I've even seen people that have a much older and different numbered (from the legit one) Pennsylvania plate on the front. I have yet to see anyone with an expired out-of-state plate on the front. One could probably do that here without too much of a problem. Garak
  13. Yes, VICE and PC64 Then that would be VICE. It's also one of the most accurate C64 emulators out there. PC64 is DOS and it's development has been stopped long ago so it's not nearly as up to date/accurate - but it's still an nice emulator for logging. Garak
  14. Also seeing 67.15.129.36 here. Garak
  15. If you mean the custom status - it seems they didn't survive the transition. However, they're easily put back in. Garak
  16. http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15869 Though, I'm not sure if Kim Lemon still has it set that you have to register before you can browse the forums. I know he did that a long while back to reduce extra useage for cost reasons. Garak
  17. Hmm, haven't I seen you somewhere else before? Yep, good gaming fun. Getting through to that second ending though is insane - at least for me.
  18. I vote that Inky takes over the project. So, Inky, we'll need some new screenshots and new controller ideas.
  19. Comp.sys.cbm seems to be quite active with C64DTV hacking and coding. Most of the DTV team members are in that group too and Jeri herself lurks there on occasion. Garak
  20. Heh, good 'ol Jim Brain Anyway, as also mentioned in comp.sys.cbm there is now a site dedicated to hacking the unit including a forum: http://www.dtvhacking.info which has several of the DTV team as members. Garak

    Castle Crisis

Ah, the Slashdot effect! Though I imagine they could handle the extra traffic though... Garak
  22. Heh, I forgot, there are also rituals involved before new people can join. I imagine if/when Kim solves the bandwitdh issues he'll re-open the forums to public viewing. Garak
