  1. Is that the converter leads? Any idea how much? I live in England, and would not be able to get away to America that time of year because of work - but if someone could buy me one or two and post them onto me, that would be fantastic.
  2. The TI-99/4A does not have any multicarts or flash carts. It would also be nice to have a PAL USB Flashcart for my Atari 2600 (I think only NTSC systems support the now impossible to obtain 2600 Flash and multicarts).
  3. Thanks for the info. I have a multicart and two vectrex's (each came with one controller), but one of the controllers is screwed and it would be nice to get another controller for some two player action, without having to buy another complete vextrex system. It would be even better to have a converter or modded controller. I am suprised nothing exists for sale at present, and there is no demand for them.
  4. Thanks for the info and link. It looks just what I am after. It is a shame they will only ship to Germany on that one and only accept BT. EBay in Germany has a wierd law of some kind, which means they do not have to accept Paypal, and many sellers do not. Perhaps there is also a USA model (I have voltage converters) that would be easier to obtain and support NTSC for sure?
  5. Does anyone know anywhere I could get a Vextrex Replacement Controller or an Adapter? I found this website: http://www.multigame.com/psx2vect_special.html and sent the bloke an E-mail a few weeks back as it is dated 2003, but got no reply. I also found this DIY guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/Modify-PSX...-Games-Console/ But that is a bit difficult for me. Unless anyone here could perhaps make me one and sell it to me?
  6. I recently bought a couple of unusual consoles from the UK EBay. A French-Canadian Coleco Gemini and a (most likely USA) Magnavox Odyssey. I was told the Gemini would support both PAL and NTSC games, which is the main reason I bought it. After plugging it into a UK PAL UHF 14" CRT TV, I was unable to find it on any frequency. The same with the Odyssey. I also own a Gadmei LCD TV Box which has TV ariel input and is suppose to support NTSC and PAL. I can tune the Odyssey and Gemini in through this, but the quality on both is ultra-poor unusuable. The Gemini has a TV changer switch on the back marked 2 and 3. I am guessing these are channels 2 and 3 in the VHF low-band (band I): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America...ion_frequencies To confirm this, the Gemini auto tunes to: 2- VL55.12 3- VL61.12 And I get a very very very weak signal on frequency VL 183.43. The Gadmei has three modes: PAL (which shows Yellow and Blue Lines down the TV screen) N3.58 and N4.43 (which both look the same - B&W with mass interference) There is no colour in the 2600 games and they are only showing B&W, although I only have PAL carts, and am wondering if the Gemini is not PAL compatible, and if I would get colour if I plugged a NTSC cart into it? Does anyone know if any UK CRT TVs support NTSC VHF frequencies, and if perhaps there might be another way around this problem? As far as I can VHF only supported B&W in the UK and VHF TV was discontinued in 1985: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_high_fr...#United_Kingdom If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.
  7. I am sure I pre-odered one of those on the Denial Forums, but never got an E-Mail. Oh well, I have just ordered one on the website and guess I am at the back of the queue. A tad expensive compared to this one though: http://www.8bitcentral.com/behrbonz.htm Which is not currently available, but I have heard rumours some more might be made shortly. Here are some more simular devices, I have found: COMMODORE 64/128 (AND POSSIBLY ALSO VIC20/PLUS4): 1541-III http://jderogee.tripod.com/project1541.htm 1541 Ultimate: http://www.1541ultimate.net/content/index.php SD2IEC: http://www.nkcelectronics.com/sd2iec-boar2.html BBC MODEL B: RetroClinic BBC B with Compact Flash Interface http://www.retroclinic.com/acorn/acorn.htm SPECTRUM: DivIDE http://www.papayalabs.co.uk/shop/ There were also many more Spectrum ones available, but they all seem to be sold out and discontinued now. If anyone knows of any more that are not listed, that would be appreciated.
  8. Thanks for this list. Very useful, but a shame there are so many that are Discontinued and impossible to find now. Multicarts and Memory Devices do make it much easier when taking systems to Retro Gaming Events, rather than having to take loads of Carts, Tapes and Disks, and its better to play on the real machines, rather than emulators. Did you get around to creating the Computing list? There is a few I know of, but you might know of a few that I don't.
  9. I already have one, but would like another three. I will send a PM with my E-Mail. Just to check - You can have two plugged into one PC, and it will work for two player games OK?
