Their is a chain here called gamerdoc and when you buy something there they open up an account based on your name and phone number, they input what ever you buy into your account and you have a lifetime warranty on what ever games you buy. All last gen games are $3 unless priced otherwise. http://www.gamerdoc.com/
Hell that doesn't sound too bad, are you saying last gen as in...anything that isn't Xbox 360 PS3 or Wii?
If so I might need to forward you my wish list

Well the one here has a pretty slim selection of games so you should try to find other AA members that have one in their area http://www.gamerdoc.com/locations.aspx

I don't go to Gamestop because they open there games and sell them as new that make me mad
I've bought a "new" game there because they didn't have any used copies at that store or any others in my city and it was scratched to shit, I've bought used games and they look like new
I do most of my game shopping with a local chain here in Alabama called Replays. I've noticed that all discs going in or out of the shop go through a cleaning and polishing machine at the checkout. I have had positive experiences there over the years. This bit of info won't help anyone outside of AL or Miss, but I prefer to shop with local small business when possible. http://www.replaysonline.com/
I'm curious to know what the screwed versus good deal ratio is with other independent shops in various locales?
I do as well the only problem is some independent shops never lower their prices. you see games sitting on the self so long that is has sun damage. They are used already so for last generation games it's a toss up of buying it at a independent shop for $5-$15 or get it at EB/GS for $5 and under.

I should elaborate on Deathtrow. In the loading screen ads they are just static images that change every few seconds in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Like of those you may see in replays in televised sporting event.
-
The fake ads in Deaththrow are pretty good. They make the televised futuristic sport more organic.
RentaMech.comGot riot problems?Call 1-800-WE-NUKE
It's not slavery!, buy Android workers today! They only real ads in the game is for Rockstar energy drinks, but they are rarely on the loading screens only on some of the arena billboards.

I have a question regarding this package:
Does it allow saving progress in the middle of the games, so you can continue playing on another day? Like Capcoms Virtual Console Arcade titles?
In VOL 2 you can, My bother and I kept having to load a save over a over so we had enough time to enter our initials at the high score screen for Block Block (breakout like game). Must of took 10 tries at least until we both did it in time.

Yeah I got a copy at EB for $1 a few weeks back.
It's ok but you can really tell it had budget tittle production values, you covered the majority of its faults in that thread.

There was the game George Romero's City of the Dead that was set to be released in 06, it got canned.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/927719-george-romeros-city-of-the-dead
George Romero's City of the Dead begins as four desperate survivors escape a ravaged zombie infested city by helicopter. After making it to the remote island of Isla Mortal, an accident destroys their only means of escape. Unbeknown to them the island is home to a top secret military installation, overrun by the walking dead. Armed with an arsenal of traditional and futuristic weaponry, players must battle the living dead from dusk 'till dawn in series of abandoned locales. With split-screen co-op missions, party mode, and four-player online feature, City of the Dead features a range of multiplayer features that allow gamers to play as human or zombie.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_the_Dead_%28video_game%29

I think I know what it is - store floor space. The stores that are less square feet inside are probably the ones throwing out the cases and the ones that are bigger are keeping them. That would make sense right?
I don't think so, there is one in a mall in my city that is about half the size of an average EB/GS. Judging from the last time I went a month or so ago, they don't carry Original XBox of Gamecube games anymore but they have at least one rack front and back filled with PS2 games.
They haven't gone this far in my area and the adjacent town. The only games I've seen on counters in the sleeves rack are PS1 and DS/GBA games.Wait.... what??? PS1 games?! Stores in my area discontinued carrying those, oh, I don't know.. five years ago or so?

From all the 8 or so stores in my city and the adjacent town and City that I've been too they all have at least a dozen or so PS1 games in store each. Some even have 1 or 2 N64 games in the case with the loose DS/GBA/GB games.
-
I'd prefer this store being located in Canada, but I'll take US as well if Canada isn't an option. Thanks.

For a brick and mortar place some of the Beatgoeson stores have them, They charge $1 per disc I believe.

They haven't gone this far in my area and the adjacent town. The only games I've seen on counters in the sleeves rack are PS1 and DS/GBA games. They have been dropping pricing of used last gen games dramatically, Example: Spy Vs. Spy for Xbox one week $10 the next $1, same deal for Panzer Dragoon Orta from $10 to $1. I've gotten at least 30 games in the last 6 months from these price drops for $1-$3, any case less games come in a generic DVD cases with the store insert.
The store closest to me in a mall has 90% of their used Original XBox games are in generic DVD cases.
They don't seem at all to be concerned about saving space as they never drop prices of "new" last gen games I've seen a stack in a corner of one store of 80 or more "new" Original XBox games that haven't had there sticker price changed since 09, games they want $10-$20 when you can get CIB used copies for $5 or less in the same store.

Damn double post.

...I had hoped they would do this with the original Xbox so that people who are interested in playing the old Xbox games online would have a method of doing so, but this turned out not to be the case. A simple solution would have been to keep the game code on disc as is, but allow the old Xboxes, if they connect, to patch to a "final" firmware revision that included the ability to manually enter a server IP address, which could then redirect the network traffic to a privately owned "Xbox Live 1-Compatible" network.
XBC and Xlink but of course the 360 has the system-link ping limit (unless you mod your 360) to deter people from using such programs like so many did for Halo 2 last generation. So you are forced to pay for Live to play online multiplayer.
Not many games have system-link now a days or split-screen anyway so when the company shuts down the multiplayer servers for what ever reason you’re SOL multiplayer wise.
It would have been nice if people could download title updates and content from the host or other players but you can’t, as many games you can’t join a game were the host has DLC (content &/or update) when you don’t have it and vice versa.
There is an Original Xbox DLC archive/installers project for a few years (You need a modded Original Xbox to use the installers)
The Original Xbox live support was shut down on April 15th of this year. 95% of the DLC was free in the first place or over time, since its no longer available for purchase it’s basically abandonware now.
That’s the end of my rambling on

They keep doing this stuff without proper controls....
ARRGHHHHHHH!!!
Well there is a paddle for the DS for that breakoutish game.
But yes the paddle games were pretty much unplayable on Atari Anthology for the Xbox and PS2.
Silent scope complete had it's own light gun, which didn't work with the game because of the shitty light gun coding of the game
I don't know why they didn't sell universal (Xbox, PS2, Game Cube, maybe even PC) paddle controllers last generation. Other compilations had paddle games aswell FFS.They emulate the bare necessities to have something to sell and never grow it like other companies like Midway and Namco did with their compilations.
I know with the fifth generation they were both bad but last generation Namco was a hell of alot worse at that. Namco Museum 50th Anniversary "with 4 games never in a compilation before".
At least with Midway Arcade Treasures series you didn't get the same games as on the one released before.

I’ve seen some one post on a forum blame the Xbox on the downfall of the Dreamcast.
People who jump on the “I hate this game/game series bandwagon”, and rag on and on about it when ever possible. By the look of such posts see they have only played such a game (if at all) 30 minutes tops.
People who hate a console based on the fact they don’t like the more popular exclusives available for it.
I’ve seen all of this from people who seem like “educated” gamers on various forums.
Or from other less educated gamers.
“Those graphics suck now; I can’t believe I liked playing that 5 years ago” or some stupid variation of that.

Thanks for the Info
I opened it up lastnight to clean it, the damn springy thing flew out from the tension as I opened it.
It took me a few mins the figure out where to put the springy thing for when I reassemble it.
It's great that you don't need to use pliers to clean the paddle like you do with 2600 paddles.

I picked up a Gemini controller for a few $ the other day. I wanted to find a guide (if there is any) before I open it
up.

Yes I aswell would like to see a complete list of the games.

I don't even know which girl is the problem in the game
http://boards.ign.com/the_guy_game/b7443/81328562/r89356888/
There are several points here:
1) Her identity: "According to court filings, Doe was waiting in line to enter Tequila Frog's bar on March 11, 2003, when she saw the nearby stage. Armed with a fake California ID she'd bought in Dallas and a "newly enhanced buxom" " Now that you know where she is in the game you can bypass that section, cause no one what's to watch a stupid underage kid anyway.
2)What parent buys enhancements for a 17 year old? " "newly enhanced buxom" (as misnamed in court papers, presumably for "bosom") given to her by her parents as a Christmas present the year before"
3) How stupid does she think we are: "Doe alleges that by virtue of the company's negligence, Topheavy invaded her privacy and inflicted emotional distress. By failing to discover that she was under 18,.."
4) My point being made: "Topheavy attorney Laura Stapleton, ,... "[Doe] entered the contest knowingly [and] with an obvious desire to gain the attention of the crowd while being duplicitous with [Topheavy] to gain entry to the contest," she wrote. "Because [she] was acting as an adult and telling others that she was an adult, it was reasonable for Topheavy to believe she was an adult and [to] treat her like an adult, and the law should follow suit by holding her responsible for her actions, like an adult."
I've seen the Xbox version still being sold used in EB games in my area for like $15-$20 within the last year

Unfortunately, Radioshack sold all their retail shops in Quebec to Circuit City, and they don't have what I am looking for. Beside, I reckon that the ones on eBay are cheaper than 5$, even with the shipping fees. Thanks for your answers guys.
*Thanks for your PM mumbai!
I belive it's the same here in Ontario atleast in my area. They sell only gold ones there which are $9

Got screwed by GameStop today

Well in the last 12 months or so many games have dropped in price. One week I see a game for $10 the next week (with the sticker stating a price change the day before) it was $1. I must have gotten at least 30 games for $1 each by now
This is for mostly the Original XBox games but I've seen it with some Gamecube games being $5 and under as well. But their gamecube games selection is being phased out.
Weird thing is some Original XBox games are cheaper then PS2 version which most of the time would have sold more. I picked up one game for $5 and the PS2 version was $15.
Of course the stores in my area have a moronic pricing system which explains some of it. Where "new" copies are cheaper then used games.
Even this Gen games, Last week I saw Goldeneye Wii used $34.99 "new" $27.99
