Oops. Caught the "Data Recovery" virus/malware. Will be working on my Mac for a while until I figure out the best solution.

  Thanks for the suggestions. I do use Linux most of the time, but I have a few programs that need Windows.
  
  I already tried Safe Mode, and "Data Recovery" blocks other programs from the start menu. I can still launch the run window though.
  
  I'll try ClamAV. I'm actually on a Puppy Linux live CD now.
