Atarimania had a picture, and I think it might actually be that. However, the only copy they had is a .bas file, and I can't figure out how to get it to run, so if anyone has it as .atr or a cassette or something, let me know. Thanks for your help. Edit: Or if you can get me to get the .bas file to work, that is fine too.

Well, you didn't actually drive it yourself at all. You didn't even see the car. When you were moving, all you saw was 2 lines that made a triangle, like a road, and a dotted line in the middle. The police flasheres were just two squares that changed colors between blue and red I think.
-
Nope. Thanks though. The only graphics it had was a map of teh country that tracked your progress, a "road" when you were driving, and police lights when a cop was trying to pull you over. As I said, it was actually more text than graphics.

I'm trying to remember the name of a game and find out if it's available. As I've said I can't remember the name, but the basic premise was you were trying to drive cross country, I'm thinkking an LA to NY kinda thing, but you only had a certain amount of time to do it. You also had to stop and eat I think, and rest and get gas. It was mostly text, with a few graphics for driving and the police trying to stop you. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

Well, I can't get it to work, so I'm giving up for now. If anyone ever does figure it out or finds a copy that works, let me know. Thanks.

BTW, how do you use the .atx files? I have never been able to figure out how to get them to work? Do you have to use a different Atari emulator other than Atari800Win?
-
Well, I'll try again I guess, but I'm pretty sure those were the settings I had. Oh well.

Just a bump so hopefully Remo can see it.

What machine does this need to be run, and what memory settings need to be used? It crashed on me again after the labyrinth. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone have a working copy of this? I finally beat the Labyrinth and then it just went black without ever going to the navigation. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone have a working copy of this for the emulator? If so, please let me know. Thanks!
-
Thanks. Didn't expect the map, but figured I'd ask anyways.

Does anyone have the manual for this? And not sure if it was ever done, but a map of the labrynith? Thanks.

Not quite. I did find a copy online of the map insert that I had with the version of Autoduel I played, and I've attached it. This is the correct color scheme. Autoduel___Map___PC_1_.pdf

Omnitrend Universe I - Is the booster there?
Bruiser replied to Bruiser's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Looks like I found out what I'm doing on my Christmas vacation! -
Actually, no, that's not what I played. The buildings looked the same as the Atari version I'm curently playing, but the buildings were different colors.
-
Thanks for all your suggestions. I used teh Artifact suggestion and it helps, but it's not the same. However, I think I figured out why. I think I may have actually been playing a PC version, which I didn't remember they made. Doubt I'll ever find that though.

I distinctly remember playing a version of Autoduel on the Atari computer (I belive I had a 1200 XL) where everything was in color, the cities, the cars, trees, etc... However, I only seem to be able to find black and white versions of the game. Anyone know if the color version is available somewhere? The black and white version is fine, but it's more nostalgia than anything else. Thanks.

Omnitrend Universe I - Is the booster there?
Bruiser replied to Bruiser's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yah, I've actually seen that, but I went there, and it's not there, so if it is "there" it must not show up until a certain point in the game that I haven't gotten to yet. -

Yah, either it isn't or you have to play for a certain time to set off some trigger or something. Never knew you could target specific parts of the ship though. -

Just a bump -
To this day, I've always wondered if the Hyperspace Booster was something you could actually find in the game. I don't want to know where, or when (I wonder sometimes if you can keep playing after you pay off the loan and then maybe it appears), but I just want to know if it's possible to find it. Thanks.

Anyone know where I can get the 1.3 version of Universe to run on an emulator? I thinkI have version 1.2, and I have an apparent normal problem with the sublight drive. I can run the scan, and apparently it'll move the ship, but then it locks up. Luckily it appears also to write the move to the player disk, because if I reboot flight 1 the move will be there, or at elast so far it has. Any help is appreciated, and I already trned of the SIO patch on Atari800Win PLus 4.0.
