From Germany shipping to many countries still is restricetd. I´ve just send a package (<5 kg) to Brasil, which was only possible with premiuim service and cost nearly 70 EUR. The only other allowed items are letters up to 500g and maximum thickness of 2cm. This is quite expensive, but it seems to get better slowly. The postal service status from Germany to Chile just went from red to yellow. When it was red, my letters didn´t even leave Germany, but were returned to me. The premium service alone is 22€, but at least you get insurance and tracking. Maybe you want to collect some orders to get to the maximum of 5kg and can split the shipping cost among the items.
  3. Huge German electronics supplier, maybe comparable to Radio Shack back then or Best Buy today.
  4. Now I have a problem: I love them both, even in this draft quality (I´m still fiddeling with the high quality settings). I will print some more of both designs to have a nice home for the other dozens of cartridges lurking around my place. Maybe I print one in each color. Hmmm. Should get 256 different filaments matching the Atari color palette.
  5. There are differences in the "new" cartridges, too. With the second run of "The!Cart" we figured out, that some fit into an Atari 800 and some don´t. Those of my carts don´t fit in @Doug_in_NC´s cart stand: all AVG-Carts, SIDE2, SIDE3, Bomb Jake, The Rescue Expedition, Ridiculous Reality. While @Mr Robot´s still is printing, I was keen enough to put the carts in, as it already is at 60%, and there they all fit. So, my advice is to use the dimensions of that cart stand.
  6. A shot into the dark from a not very experienced programmer ( oh, that´s me! ) : Are you reading the Values with READ from DATA-lines? If so, I think you should use decimal values.
  7. Yes, I will do it for the middle part of the three holders, left and right are done and fit well for the standard cartridges. But tonight the printer is busy with Steve´s design.
  8. Oh yesss. It was on the list for a long time and I got it a few months ago. I´m still learning but meanwhile I figured out to achieve a good quality for me. Still have some trouble when using new filaments that I didn´t use before, but I´m getting better. The most important thing: I just can let it print, after the first two layers are done. It´s so cool to wake up and find a finished print.
  9. This actually sounds like a really good idea to me. I will check, if I can preprint the US stamps like I do it with the current stamps, which I download as a multi-page PDF and then have a workflow which combines it with the addresses and prints it together on the envelope. That assumes, that the stamps have the same price, no matter, to which state they go. If that works, I only need a reliable person who receives the package, opens it, grabs out his copy (which I would place on top) and brings all the magazines to a postal service (probably USPS?). Is anybody in the US willing to help with this? Edit: Currently our database reports 44 ABBUC members located in the US.
  10. That´s the next on the list. Already in the queue. Many, many cartridges here. Why design something on my own, when so many great designs are available already.
  11. Thank you, I just printed this with a Prusa i3MK3S and are very happy with the result of the first stand (left). Only thing I didn´t check beforehand: It doesn´t fit with all my cartridges. Anyway, really nice.
  12. As you are working for a postal service, isn´t there any secret trick you can use to help us making shipping overseas more reliable?
  13. Hm, so you think, chances are higher, that it is transported faster and more reliable than with standard mail? Damn. Anyway. Let´s see what happens. After three months of no show, I think it´s time to send a replacement.
  14. On Dec 31st I´ve send one envelope with tracking. Will watch its way. Currently, the only information is "in transit". Is anybody else missing 142 and special mag 52? 3 months is way too long, even if they carry it by vessels. Please let me know, and I will resend some, but with tracking. It´s quite expensive, but for two or three people I will do it, just to get a comparison of the way the magazine takes.
  15. I´ve unsinstalled wine-devel and did a brew install --cask wine-stable which reports to be wine 5.0 and gives me this: While Altirra 4 now seems to run, I still have no success with MadStudio so far.
  16. Hi Larry, yes. ALL magazines shipped on December 23rd.
  17. There still seem to be huge delays when shipping from Europe to the US. Most of shipping is done the way the name implies: by ship. That means, delivery times will go up from days to weeks. I will randomly send ABBUC magazines with tracking, just to get an idea, what really happens.
  18. One never can have enough MegaSpeedys. Would love to have one or two more, too. I´ll reach out to the people who did the last batch.
  19. Hm, I should get the Pokey´s Magazine out of the shelf and read it again, and see, if I can get some inspiration. Printing the date on the envelope is something I just didn´t change yet. I´m not happy with it too, as it also didn´t work for me, when I was a standard member. We do something about that. Actually we´re talking about a club, that is 35+ years old. So is the data. There are many members, where I have no email, but a phone number, which probably won´t work anymore. I´m not keen enough to test it and will remove the phone numbers, as they are not a necessary information.
  20. Thanks to +Adam+ for the reminder! You can find the game in the Public Downloads: http://www.abbuc.de/mitgliedschaft/downloads/viewcategory/30-freie-software-free-software
  21. It´s on the starting page in German and English, but all you need to know is just here! Simply send me a message which lottery you want to be in (MidiJoy 2.0, Atariduino or both) and you´re ready to go. Still working out where to go live (access will be restricted to members only, so no open YouTube or something) and the exact time. Will be in the evening here, so that you don´t have to get up to early. But again: When you are in the lottery, you will be notified, no need to watch it live. As soon as I have worked out the details (not before the weekend, need to get sober again) I´ll post them here. As the magazines with the infos just shipped on Dec 23rd, they probably won´t arrive overseas in time, this is, why I also announce it here.
  22. Dear Dropcheck, I beg your pardon. Got no return so far, so I´ve repacked it right now and will send it with tracking this time, so that we can make sure, it will arrive or at least we know where it wanders to. As soon as I get the tracking number, I´ll send it to you by mail.
  23. Hi all, as the current magazine is on the way and might reach international members too late for this information, I´ve put the following on the ABBUC website: MidiJoy 2.0 and Atariduino lottery on January 9th 2021 Frederik Holst provided some MidiJoy 2.0 and Atariduino - Boards to the ABBUC, which we will give away on Jan 9th 2021. To take part in the lottery, just send a message with your member number and a hint, if you want to win one or both of the boards to Sascha (skr). As he is the lucky fairy, Sascha can´t take part, but all other members are allowed to be in the lottery. The lottery will be live in the Internet (accessible for members only, detailed information will be posted here soon), but to win you don´t have to watch it live. All winners will be notified by mail immediately after the lottery. There was a lot of work in the last months, so I was somewhat quiet here. As I´m wrapping up things, please contact me, if you miss something. I´ve figured out that some welcome magazines were not sent out and also got some returns after more than six months. Postal service is an endless source of joy. Changed the way, how I handle it, so please check your magazines, membership data and let me know, if somethings still wrong/missing.
  24. Just received my FujiNet and I´m blown away. It perfectly fits and works out of the box. No installation, no hassle. Plug´n´Play at it´s best. I only had to look for instructions about to do the Firmware upgrade. Didn´t find it (it was late already, working ~13 hrs/day currently) but it was easy enough for me to figure out that I just have to connect the FujiNet to my MacBook and the rest was just hit Update and watch it grabbing the current firmware automatically and flashing it.
