  1. I would argue that it's the best Tetris on GB/GBC.
  2. Gussun Oyoyo looks a lot like Hello Kitty Cube Frenzy. Also vaguely similar to Tetris Plus
  3. Nontan to isshou: kurukuru puzzle for gameboy is pretty good. It was developed by gamefreak and later ported to the super famicom, but I prefer the gameboy version. Here's a video:
  4. Total necro reply, but I just watched a video a couple days ago where the host explained that with a lot of these vfd games, the cpu can't drive the display and the sound at the same time, which often results in flicker or a temporarily blank screen.
  5. I totally forgot... Auto Upturn for famicom/nes Weird beyond description
  6. Here are 3 of my top candidates: Banishing Racer - bizarre gameboy game where you play as a car who was resurrected from the dead by an angel to make a hop & bop journey across the USA Ultraman Ball - you play as Ultraman who rolls into a ball and bounces his way to the exit. Super Pachinko Taisen an Ultraman, Kamen Rider, SD gundam battle game played via the medium of pachinko.
  7. Didn't read closely enough, please ignore.
  8. I think Parasol Stars might be my favorite game in this genre. I usually call them something like "single screen arcade platformers" or just "bubble bobble style games"
  9. I forget where I got my Esparks cartridge, but I didn't have to look for very long or pay very much. Probably about $40 4-5 years ago. It was either from ebay or amazon. Maybe I started collecting at the right time.
  10. I've never been able to appreciate the GBC's library much. Too much licensed shovelware. No where as appealing to me as the original Gameboy with all it's weird throwback titles. Though there are a number of black cart backwards compatible games that I love. Game&watch gallery series and wario land 2&3 are great. For some reason I kind of like the beauty and the beast board game adventure. It's sort of like mario party.
  11. I installed a resistor in my Bandai Packri Monster game to lower the volume to a more reasonable level. Just cut a wire to the piezo speaker and soldered the resistor to the wire. Simple but effective.
  12. If all else fails, NES membranes are almost identical to the ones in the turbo pad.
  13. The Bouncer, I don't think anyone has ever found one even though it was location tested and appeared in the background of a movie. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
  14. I finished the translated version of the Japanese exclusive "for the frog the bell tolls" on gameboy. It's a pretty good game with a lot of polish. Not a perfect game, but definitely worthy of an international release. Definitely worth the $5 from aliexpress.
  15. The SC-3000 was released in Europe and the SG-1000 and SC-3000 were released in Australia. Since Australia is PAL territory, this probably led to the confusion.
