I don't know if anyone is interested , but recently , this museum has included/expanded its recognition of Electronic/Video games and Related materials. It is located in Western New York. The museum has a site which includes all toys but there is a seperate site with information about the Video Game related area. Interesing and I of course felt it was my SWORN DUTY to inform everyone. Just a quick check on the Main site and it seems the ONLY game system voted into the HALL OF FAME , is the 2600 . Anyway here are the two links .... In one of the posts you had a few links. One of them was an atari cart list 300 + carts. I was just curious as to how much you were asking or looking to get might be a better term , for the whole list. Not sure if you wanted to sell the whole collection as one item , individual carts , making up packages , etc. So please if you get sales please make them and do not put anything on hold. What I wanted was a price so I could consider it. I thought you would either say a price or say make you an offer. Who knows , I may be way out of my league and should not even be asking !!! Hello again , so seriously ...... how much for the ATARI LIST ? If you would rather email me feel free , but this is a serious question. I am fairly new here , but I have been collecting for years (too many) Also , try not to pay attention to the "haters" I believe is the term. You should be excited and happy. Hello, I don't know if you meant me , but I do use those Baseball card cases for some of my carts. They need to be the larger ones like for 250 or more I think , because the cards would go in one way , but the Atari carts fit the other way. I know it sounds funny , but just bring a cart with you to one of those collectable stores and see what you can use. I also have and use some in those Plastic Picture frames. The thing with these is they have no backs ( until my lazy ass makes them !) , the good thing is they come in all sorts of sizes so you can use them for multiple carts . Hope this is some help. Tom

controllers are notorious for their carbon buttons and flimsy plastic circuit good thing though is that the pots they used i have not noticed any jitteryness like with the 2600 paddles so if you are handy you could add little pushbuttons to replace start button 1 and 2 and that generally is enough to get going then when you get adventurous you can try to make your own controller Thanks for the reply. As far as these things go , I am realy more interested in shaping up the system if I can , if not maybe pick up a non-working one for parts or whatever comes along. As far as the controllers , I know how bad these controllers are and feel lucky that 1 is actualy FULLY FUNCTIONAL !!!! Thanks

Hello, Pretty new to the forums so please bear with me. I have been an Atari collector for years , (mostly 2600 don't stone me) and have had sysytems come and go...bla bla bla...ok I recently decided to to add back a 5200 to the mix so I could have 2600 , 5200 , 7800 out with at least a few games for each. Bottom line is the 5200 I just picked up is pretty banged up . It's a 2 port and actualy the system works fine , but is scatched up on the metal plate part and is missing the Front Plastic Cover ( for lack of a better term) that covers the bottom 1/4 of the face of the unit and wraps around the front over the controller ports. Of course only 1 of my 2 controllers works . The other only the stick and no buttons. But I guess for a 5200 , that's actualy VERY GOOD !!! . Just wondering if anyone has parts or parts machines available . I guess I can pick up rebuild stuff for the controller (s) Thanks for any help with this.

Just noticed your post . I think You tube stopped playing it . Got some crap from Toyota ! Do you actualy have that on Usable Captured Video ? I was not qiuck enough to DVR it Would have then been able to copy it off the DVR ...Damn ! This is important Stuff ! I mess around with Videos and I would love to get that footage . ( he said , in the hope of it being read by a Kind / Giving person on Atari Age ) Merry Christmas ! I found the commercial again. As 1 ,2 , 3 etc seem to me to be unique choices well anyway....so it's final rating should not be a single number but as 64% say "at least a 6" ?...then for the sake of US BRAIN DEAD like me keep it simple Most Votes Wins.. Ahhh True, but the Majority vote is R5 Depends on what "Majority" you are using. In actuallity the "majority" says it is over a 5. Which is why I think avgs should be used and the avg makes this a 6 which is where it should be IMO but this I know, it is no 10. It is a 5 or 6 and other than that, do what you will but the avg majority points directly at 6. average Majority....hmmmm well any way how about Simply Stated , The SINGLE number with the MOST votes. If more than 2 in contest Plurality ( there's that obscure word again) Seriously , since comparing 41 votes above R5 ( 5 numbers) to 17 for R5 ( 1 number ) is like comparing apples to oranges. Not Brain Surgery ... That's Great ! Funny my son collects too! I set it back up when he was little and he got a real kick out of it. Now , he has his own collection ( he's on here somewhere unless of course he won't admit to even knowing me !!! ) and of course gets me to spend More $$$$$ than I should on adding to mine now !!!
