  1. Hi Atari age, I'm selling a rare unit i came into awhile ago. I got lazy and never really sold it, so i am now. I made a DP thread inquiring about what it was awhile back:

    http://www.digitpres...it-kit-Any-help

It is an original Xbox Development Kit, which was used to develop games during the Xbox's life cycle. I don't know much about it, but it does power up! It uses standard Xbox AV and power cables. Regular controllers work fine. According to this site:http://www.llamma.com/xbox/xbox_developer_kit.htm,

"As I recall from some random readings of various message boards it was something like $10K USD and a maximum of only two are sold a company." Not sure how true this is.

The unit is in basically good condition, never been opened up, minimal scratches on the bottom. The biggest issue is the top of the case seems to have run into a few problems, as there is a portion that is either heavily scratched or melted. You can see this pictured below.

Also, here's some pictures of the stock software it comes with. Mostly test programs.

Comes with the console only. I'm asking 200 dollars + shipping, what it was price checked at. I got an offer of 260, but they flaked off after a week unfortunately. Thanks for reading!

    EDIT: SOLD FOR 200

  4. You got to be consistent, with Flea Markets. A lot of people go, at 9 am once, not find anything, and say it sucks. I go about 3 to 4 times a month, and get up at 4 am, with a flash light. I have found a lot of games. Mint NES System, Cherry Box $15 Super NES Cherry Box $20, Odyssey Shot Gun W Box, 100 of Loose Colecovision and Atari Games, Just to name a few. No Giant hauls, on games Yet. It is a little easier for me. I buy a lot of different Items for Resale. Now Comics and Toys, That's different Story. I have paid a $1 for items I have Sold in the Hundreds. :-D

where i come from, 9 is a great time, otherwise people are not set up.

  6. does not boot atall. how do i replace the cable? is there a way? i have a extra cartslot, could i replace it? all games i use are ones that work on my 4 switch, hevay sixer (#2), jr, and light sixer so they are good.

  7. i have a heavy sixer, and when i tested it, the picture came out all crazy, like if you turned on the console with out a game in it. the slot seems loose, because when a game is put in, it can easily slide out. the plug that goes into a switchbox/modern plug is sorta rusty, can this be the culprit?

  8. have theese:

  9. sticky heavy sixer: 4$ (took an hour to clean.)

    secret of mana: 1$

i saw the sixer on the ground on the flea market. i bought it for 4$, yay. but it was tangled with 2 other wires, which were stuck to a little plastic tray that had some type of super adhesive on it. a cloth was on top of the mess. it too 10 minutes to un-tangle and get off the tray. then an hour to clean it.... :o
