Wait so a Super Grfx is propertory and not regular AV?
I am sorry I recently rediscovered RF switchs

Otherwise that is sure swell.
So where do you insert the Super CD-rom

-
People would collect those all the time. I remember my favorite seller had them for like $5 dollars in a pile of 30 or so.
Nice find original poster.
-
SMB2 ( USA ) had two extra bosses and various features. There was more done to SMB2 ( USA ). Keep in mind that there no development of this game done in USA. Also think of the commercialization of the game that benifited Mario
The Super Mario Super Show
Yoshi's Island Series
Paper Mario
Mario 64
I just adore those Shy-Guys efforts.
-
I have held back many times over after finding out it was not original. I kinda out grew the turn-based RPG lust.
-
The famicom disk system gave the games better sounding music and slightly better graphics. Mario 2 did have a official famicon release also. and the game is not so diffrent from the original asides the updated graphics. It is not really worth it that much. In fact when the SNES had the download service, they had the same game for download.
I would just buy a powerpack and stay away from any pirate services

-
The WonderBoy and Adventure island series is one in the same. What your talking about is Wonder Boy: Monster World. All together there is six to several diffrent ports of the exact same game with one being a pirate for Master System.
I could only assume this is the game that everybody was talking about when it was released on the Wii Virtual Console from Genesis version.

When you want something complete especially with USA games a sealed game matters alot.
Meaning don't buy anything sealed unless it is really worth it like a Comic Book. Chrono Trigger is hard to
find and a sealed copy is like a needle in a hay stack and a sealed copy is ludacris rare.
Also when you open a sealed copy ( like a PSX game ) you damage the packaging and expose it to oxygen.
It is only a matter of time before the game returns to soil but that will only happen when your Hard Drive in your
computer goes caput. Also when I and many Americans would open a game box up we would rip open the game box
and make it even rarer.

Well the problem with your post is that you put DOS programs into two catergories ( old and new ) and then you mention ( PC ).
DOS is DOS. There is also BASIC and it's variants. You can't say old or new. Most people can't even tell the diffrence between DOS and other operating systems that is not GUI.
A PC just means "personal computer" and the only person who thinks a PC means "Windows Operating system" is a computer illiterate person or a "OS X user".

So are we talking about the same messiah famicom/NES from 2oo5?
If so thank you for telling us about the controller. I allways wanted to get one but never really found it usefull at all.
About your NES problem maybe you could use a NES controller wireless with your SNES messaih reciever?

I am like Unicron from transformers. I only collect things to annoy people, then blow them up with gun powder, or make a bond fire and laugh over it. Maybe I have the Transformers music playing in the background.

Great game but it was not worth the price I paid for it ( $22 ).
This game is more of a inspiration then a original. Think about it. It is too good to be true. Image if it was on the NES?
-
I assume your talking about the SNES in a DKC packaging?
How is it diffrent from a regular SNES?
Otherwise I would just keep it in cold storage or get ride of it when zero listing days arrive.

What about that Die hard game with the actor from "The Fifth Element" ? I have allways wanted to play that game after seeing the whole place burning with whats his face with the flame thrower.
They have been doing that since the NES days. Like Dark Vadors breath.
-
Well the thing is in todays world they should be raking in more but thanks to
People buying used games they are only making as much as they would in 1991 money

That is like going to movies and then buying the video version only to read in the news that a movie producer complains about bootleggers while that same person is wearing a $20,000 suit.

So what was the game that was the one with graphics like it but was a beat em up?
-
I am just wondering if anybody remembers that Street Fighter was originally FIghter Street?
Maybe they just sent over the leftover Fighter Street to US with the Street Fighter title?
I remember it for being a really nice game that is still fun today. I mean the graphics still get my eyes to jump.
Also don't forget about the music and whats his face that only appears in the background of later Street fighter games.

The so called crash never really killed any systems. It just told people maybe we should rethink videogames. This wented into the Atari Jaguar, JCD, 3D0, and anything else uptill the X-box era. The X-box basically had releases from PC and the rumor that Windows 2000 was running on it. So that meant easy emulation and a super cheap PC.
We just jumped on the X-box AKA Windows 2000 gamers edition train. There is still no real comeback for Videogames at all. I don't even use our own gere system at all.
-
That is part of the SEGA promise. To bring unity with all there releases. Every single product is somehow interchangable with the last one. That also comes to mind that SEGA built systems focused on using there past devices. Maybe it was just cheaper?

Clean Larry just keep your smug to yourself. If anybody post news it is anybodys right to comment or respond to the news in whichever way it might. If your going to take things personal then stop reporting news.
For the sake of originalism; If Superfighter Team is in a "real" partnership with gametec please release games in there original language with the option to change language back and forth in english or whatever other language. Are you up to the challenge of releasing games with original localization?
I don't want to see some random logo or name on the box of any game when that game was not originally made by them to begin with. It is like the dispute between Acclaim and Working Designs. Neither Working Designs or Acclaim had anything to do with manifestation of Alundra II but they knew with there name on it; they would look good. All they did was censor, translate, and promote the game for western audiences.
Yes I am looking forward to original works and I mean works that is manifested from Super Fighter Team that has only to do with Super Fighter Team.
Not gametec or anybody else. All you guys really need is a release that tells the buyer what you are about, and show the world what you can do. Then release it on the Genesis or whatever and port that to Gameboy Advance or PSP. So far all I see is ports, everything I see is ports. It does not have to be perfect since all game companies started with games that was not on the ball to beign with. There is not one game company I could think of that had a perfect release to begin with.
Look at SEGA. They wented from importing and exporting to becoming the first game company to do everything; and today they are still pushing the limit.
I want to see you. I don't want to see nobody else. I just want you.

Did NBC had movies with Atari advertising?
-
I am getting real tired of these idiots making headlines for releasing games that is not original made by them. It is like they took some form of Donkey Kong and edited the sprites and layout and change the name to it's english coutner part. I mean I was looking sooooo much for there original game but the moment I found out it was from Korea....
Why do people think the term 'homebrew' is negative in any way? It's common to use the word 'homebrew' to describe new releases for older, non-supported systems.Homebrew means home made which means you made it from scratch. Not did a whole run down of self-promotion and marketing. Once you start generating games in a consumer format it is no longer homebrew. Think of it like Unlicensed or in this case pirated like those NES multi carts.
What about Mother 3? is that home brewed? what is stoping APE from making a webpage to order the game for N64?
If I started to generate games I would call it unlicensed and then when I start selling on the more recent systems it would then be commercial or licensed.
I think gametec should sue Super Fighter team or demand royalties

I own like two of them. One that needs repair and another one that I had from when I was younger. While it does not damage your eyes, it is like visiting a movie theather. Image going to the movies now all you need to have that exprience is just by playing virtual boy.
It is a movie theather in one with the Arcade. All you need is the running oxygen, a movie and some pop maze.

The answer is yes. My local comic shop at one time would have original video tapes from 1964 or so. Like the Starwars tapes for example. I myself had a N64 tape ( the one with Starfox ) my cousin would laugh at the Mario bit everytime since he is a SEGA fan.

I will admit it is a fun game but I hate the way Nintendo tried to get in the minds of players buy showing a image of Mario in a pill shaped spaceship. I wish I had the time.
