Thanks for all the advice. I already have a SlikStick in my Tempest! And yes, it's like butah, probably superior to even the original spinner with new bearings. And I'm not certain how mame would know the difference between 4 slikstiks, I know that Randy makes the TT2 configurable to the exact number of the device somehow. Yet another topic that I've had trouble finding any good info on. The reality is, a 4 player warlords cocktail will probably not have the 3rd and 4th players played very often in my house, so it was just an idea of a way to cut corners; even if only temporary.

This was posted for my benefit, as I asked Albert this question in specific. I am considering maming a Centipede cocktail into a cocktail Warlords. 4 turbo twist spinners would cost around $250! So I thought about using the old 2600 paddle controls through the Stelladaptor for 2 players and then I'd only have to buy 2 TT2 spinners but I'd have to specify that they were the 3rd and 4th devices to be controlled by mame. So if I read correctly, mame will recognize both paddles but you'd have to assign x axis to one and y axis to the other, right? What about the press buttons? Will they be able to be seen as separate buttons? Or will they both end up as mouse 1?
