  1. Benny, those PMs were uncalled for. You win because I can't have a conversation with someone crazier than me. I'm done. You win. If you want to have delusions of me somehow attacking you then have them. I won't have them. Please don't talk to me again unless it starts with an apology and proof of antipsychotic medication. Until then. Peace.

    Tool. icon_rolleyes.gif

PM = Private Message. (pretty simple concept)

dude, you need to let it go.

  2. "HERES THE DEAL, SINCE THIS WAS A PRIVATE RELEASE I HAVE HAD A FEW GRUMPY MESSAGES ABOUT MY LISTING.

SO I WANTED TO POINT OUT

I AM NOT OUT TO HURT ANYBODY, SCAM ANYBODY OR MAKE ANYONE MAD!

AND I WANT TO MAKE IT KNOWN WHEN RELEASED THIS GAME WAS 45.00

THE PRICE SET IS WHAT THE GAME IS WORTH TO ME.

    PLEASE, NO MORE GRUMPY MESSAGES!"

    Lol, what a tool...

  3. Hmm, I think it is at $800 because of the story behind this. If the seller were to try to sell this for $800 in about a year he/she will be left out in the cold. Game with manual can go anywhere from $450 to $600. But add in magical find, and viola you have a pay day.

Envy much? I bet it's eating you.

  4. What the hell do you care how much he makes or why is he selling his collection for? If you don't want it, don't buy it.

Just bid on this lot. sorry to hear you have to sell under these circumstances.

Thanks for bidding! Yeah, I hate to see it go. I love my collection, but I love hot showers more (and so does my family.) :)

Keep checking here for more bonuses over the next day or 2. I'll keep throwing them up as I keep digging them out. :)

From your title, and I think other posts I presumed you were a teacher. Delaware teachers I would suppose would be making at least $50,000 a year. Who knows though, maybe your mortgage payment is insane.

Don't really know what that has to do with anything. Someones income level really has nothing to do with wether or not they have hit hard times. Really don't understand why you would even post this Homer.

Clarification. His handle name is Deteacher (So him being a teacher is not a big secret), and he is from Delaware (Openly stated). I am sure that I am not the only one that was thinking this.

Given his handle name I did not think it was a big deal. Again, just going for clarification.

Then why even mention any income level? Kind of rude if you ask me.

Because he is asking us to buy his wares because he needs money. He put himself out there that he was broke. So he already disclosed what he does on every post. He already discloses where he lives in every single post. This info is NOT secret. So how is it rude? I could of said something like. You make a decent amount of money being a Delaware teacher. But you know what? This then gets into semantics about what a "Decent Income" is. If I just say you make at least $50,000 a year semantics are eliminated. Now you are the one that continues to exasperate the situation. If you chose I will continue to respond in order to clarify.

    The choice is yours.

Edit: You can be 100 percent right, and still be a total D-Bag while being 100 percent right. I was a D-Bag in this thread whether right or wrong. This will be my last post in this thread. I hope DeTeacher gets all that he needs, and more. He is a long time member, and one that can be trusted. Sorry for the derailment.

  5. I actually considered doing 2 things, start off by assuming you have a indicator for the atari being on that works, then one day it doesn't light up, and the atari won't work. I am going to either use a bicolor LED or 2 LEDs to indicate

A> Power supply connected and functioning.

2> Atari turned on and power applied to it's guts.

I think it is more likely a power supply will give up the ghost than the Atari.

And for calculating the size of a resistor, remember you can always use a higher value, the LED will run fine at less current, just be a little dimmer.

Yeah, like I said, I don't have an Atari handy to measure the voltage coming out of the voltage regulator. This mod will just lit up when you connect the power supply to the wall socket.

I guess I could use the voltage coming out of the on/off switch too. Dang, I need an Atari for this, lol

  6. I did the math using a 9V / 500 mA power supply. Taking the power straight from the source, you'll need a 1.5K Ohm resistor and an LED. It takes about 1.7 V to lit an LCD.

Feel free to chip in, I don't have an atari any more to test this.
