  1. I got no problem running my CDRs in my PSOne, or the originals. And when I had my room in the base, I didn't have a stereo, so I used to play my music CDs in the PSOne, never a problem, originals or CDRs made form MP3s in the computer.
  2. I have a couple of cents I'd like to chip in. First, I own a PS1 and it's true, some games are really shitty, but some games are awesome! Like MOH Underground, Metal Gear Snake Solid, Nuke Nukem Time to kill, Crash Bandicop Warped, Rainbow six Lone Wolf (the controllers sucks but oh well) MOH it's good too, GT2, Driver 2... etc etc Now if the PS1 it's so bad, why still on the selfs in the stores? If the DC it's better, why Sega don't make it anymore? PS1 might be a shitty console for hard core gamers, but for the general public, I think it's all right. I just wish they still making games for PS1. Now will I get a PS2? Not for now... 200 bucks for a console it's a lot of $$$ for me, and 49.90 for a game, no thanks! I barelly have time for gaming now, so I guess I'm going to stick with my PS1. Just that Osbo
  3. there's a solution for the skiping problem or if you have to flip the console, specially when you play cd-r. In the laser mount, there's a little screw, moving that screw just a little bit fix that problem. I belive that screw regulate the laser power or something like that. Anyway, my PSOne works great, now, I never play music cds... let me see... oh yeah, that's why I got me a stereo Just my two cents Osbo
  4. nice haul there guy Space Shuttle it's a good pick, I love that game
  5. I just mod my psone and it's working pretty good, now I don't know for how much I can sell it. A mod chip it's like 20 bucks and a new psone it's like 50, anyway I'm not planning to sell it , check out those links http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1943831341 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1943672075 Osbo
  6. Hi, I just got me a collection of Activision Classic Games for the Atari 2600 PS1 CD for 14 bucks... I'm so happy!! the games are: Atlantis Freeway Plaque Attack Barnstorming Frosbite River Raid Boxing Grand Prix River Raid 2 Chopper Command HERO Seaquest Cosmic Commuter Ice Hockey Skiing Crackpots Kaboom! Ski Jinks Dolphin Keystone Kapers Spider Figther Dragster Laser Blast Stampede Enduro Megamania Starmaster Fishing Dervy Pitfall! Tennis I haven't try the cd yet, so I don't know about the quality, hopefully it's good Osbo
  7. You hit the nail on the head. A system's only as good as its titles. Specs, this much of this number, that much of that number -- all irrelevant. Gimme some good games and you've got a customer. The PS2 has the MOST, BEST titles available, if you include the original PSX games. Keep in mind, again, that I'm a FPS fan. If you're a sports fan, buy something else. Whoever said that was right. I hate sports video games, though, so if you're looking for a sports machine, I'm not the one to ask. Cut-scenes and pretty pictures that look like real life have nothing to do with a VIDEO GAME, okay, kiddies? Look who I'm saying this to: Atari fans! You should already know this stuff. Don't become like the other consumer zombies, people. Cut-scenes are the crap between real levels. It's spectacle. It's bells and whistles. It's unimportant filler. End of story. You want a movie, rent a movie. Play a video game when you're in the mood to play a video game. I bought a Game Cube and brought it back a week later. Nothing good. A system's ONLY AS GOOD AS ITS SELECTION. Sorry about all the capital letters today. Too much coffee, I guess. CF I'm with you guy... The only game that I will play with the x-box it's Halo, Playstation have more games and some are really good ones. I hate sports games as well (except for Activision Tennis ) Anyway, if I get a new console, I will go for the PS2 Osbo
  8. Hi, I'm looking to get a DC console, with the cables and controller (I don't care about the box) if you do, email me at [email protected] Thanks!!
  9. I love Reactor for the VCS, I never played the arcade version, but the 2600 version it's very well done, it should get at least 4 stars
  10. I found a lot of crap this weekend but I didn't buy anything... there was a 7800 with some 15 common games, a box full of Wico controllers for a dollar each, two PS1, a couple of NES, one NES top loader (it looked kinda nasty) a Dreamcast for 12 bucks but the guy didn't have the controller or the A/V cable... oh well, hopefully I'll have more luck next weekend
  11. I finished Medal of Honor Underground (PS1) and I got me Rainbow Six Lone Wolf (PS1)... looks nicer than Rainbow Six... we'll see
  12. the box ain't that bad... I seen it worse... belive me
  13. oh boy... I love those bags with carts for 1.99... I used to pick a lot of bags in like 5 consecutive days in a thirft store back home... first three bags were atari 2600 games... then two bags with Jaguar games and then.. another bag full of TI-99 games... man that was my best haul ever but now, nothing, zero, zip, NADA on the thirft stores, I'll go check one up before my trip to Miami Anyway, just my two cents Osbo
  14. Hi, what about the proto of Lord of the Rings, it is not an RPG? Just my two cents
  15. dude... reactor rocks!!! also bowling and laser blast... anyway, didn't we talked about this topic a while ago?
  16. Hi, to answer some questions.. no the seller didn't say how much did he charge for shipping, I bid anyway, but I never expected a 15 dollars shipping charge. Just today I mailed a lot of boxes (all systems) the most expensive box was $40 dollars... but it was a box really big with two systems (2600/7800) about 100 carts, controlers, etc etc... mail a box with a NES complete with 4 games was 8 dollars... a 7800 complete with 15 games was 11 bucks and a Genesys with 4 games controlers, etc was like 10 bucks... I don't think that TI cost that much (I have one and ain't that heavy) My policy about shipping it's: end of auction, give me your zip, I calculate the shipping and send me the cash, works for me all the time... now if the buyer it's a little short, or if I miscalculate the shipping I pay the difference... anyway, I still waiting for his answer, if he dosen't write me back in a couple of days, means that he dosen't care, or if don't care about selling stuff over eBay... Osbo
  17. Hi... I just want to share a little something. About a week ago I place a bid for 6 bucks in a TI-99/4A. I won the computer. Now the guy wants 15 bucks for shipping and handling... I email him asking why he's charging so much in the shipping. He didn't write back yet... my guess it's 'oh I didn't make the 20 bucks that I wanted for the computer, let me charge it in the shipping then' What a rip off... I'm selling stuff over eBay for the past 3 years, I never rip nobody with the shipping, anyway Just my two cents Osbo
