well that happends to me a month ago, I walked the whole friking flea market, and two boots before the exit, a woman was selling a bunch of s**t and she had like 5 2600 carts (one of them was Smurfs Rescue in gargamel castle) but she wanted like $5 bucks each... I just walked away... In the other hand, I used to find bags with 4-5 2600 carts in the thirft for 0.95 cents (including Atari Jaguar) I did found like 40 carts, with almost no doubles

that happends to me too... the graphics in my jr really sucked, but in the 2600 was kinda better, but the 7800 it's way better

Well if that's the case, I don't have anything rare than 4 (pitfall 2 and california games)

I don't know the rarity of my collection, but it's worth like 400 bucks (one 2600, one 5200 and one 7800 with like 60 carts and the controllers and the supercharger...)

well you should't buy stuff at ebay... go out! Find stuff at the thirft or garage sales! it's more difficult and you could really spend some time out (I go to the thirst almost every day)

for the 2600 my favorites are (I don't really have an order)
Frogger, Pitfall!, Kaboom!, Tennis (I love it), Enduro, Demon attack (It's pretty darn difficult game!), I must say any good game it's in my list... now a general question, does anybody here beat the 1.000.000 points at Laser Blast? I did try it the other day, but I got at 200.000 and I got tired

"Sniping
Sniping means placing a bid in the closing minutes or seconds of an auction.
Any bid placed before the auction ends is "legal" on eBay.
There is a way to protect yourself from snipers and prevent being outbid at the last moment. If you bid the absolute maximum you are willing to pay, our proxy system will do the work for you.
Human nature sometimes makes us resist making the highest bid within our spending limits, but proxy bidding does work.
There is a common misconception that snipers always win. The truth is that they don't. To win, they must outbid you. By placing a proxy bid at your maximum limit, someone else can outbid you only if they are willing to spend more for the item than you are.
If someone places a last-second bid that isn't high enough, they almost never have enough time to get back in and place a winning bid before the auction ends."
From eBay help page...
another thing that really sucks, I won an auction, I sended the payment with paypal the same night, I never got anything, the seller won't anwser my email, so I place a complain with eBay, the answer? "We can't do anything because it's less than the 25 dollars deductible" I was like F*** this sucks! Later I took a look at the seller feedback and he has like 15 negatives, so now the first thing I do before bid it's take a look at the feedback...

pull the plug before the auction ends sucks... I did it only once, and I'm still regreting my action. At lest 10 people email me ask me why, they all wanted to bid on my auction. Sniping sucks as well, I was bidding on a couple of games (HERO and Jawbreaker) but I had to run some errants, and when I got back, somebody outbid me for 50cents (10.50) But I can dig that, I mean, I went out today and I got me a copy of California Games in pretty good shape for $1.51
On the other end, you can find good deals like the one I got last week, a cleaning kit for nintendo games for 9.97 when the same part at nintendo's web site it's more expensive, I don't have the price right now, but I guess it was in like $15 bucks or something, anyway, eBay it's like a two sides knife...
Just my two cents

I did watch it live (I work in a cable company) when the second plane hit one of the towers and when the towers came down. It's one of the most horrific things I've ever watched in my life. But this show us how we stand up as brothers, as a one country, and we will move on over this, and make sure it'll never happends again, here in America or somewere in the world. And
GOD BLESS AMERICA, MY HOME, SWEET HOME!
