Help identifying three 8-bit videogame characters
AtariFiend replied to Liquid27's topic in Classic Console Discussion
LOL.. that's wut he'z doing totally. Probably one of those big posters where there's a scene with all kinds of games and you win something if you can name the most video game characters. At least he's resourceful, but it is pretty cheese-filled to do it like this. -
Pac-Man Collection (ColecoVision) completed. Going beta test
AtariFiend replied to opcode's topic in Opcode Games
Pixelboy should have more info about how to get a copy soon... I'll just put him on my waiting list. Oh, and the.golden.ax, you're now on my waiting list too. Thank you! How do I pay, and when? Do you need me to hit you with contact info? -
Find the keys that are the equivalent in your emulator to * and # on the Colecovision game pad. * plays the game again on the same difficulty as before; # brings you back to the blue difficulty select screen. All "Coleco" release games work like that.

Oh, my freaking GOD! Pac Man was always the holy grail for me! How can I get one of these!?!?! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! You guys MADE that!? -
I hope this is the right place. If I have an Atari and a Coleco and an old Commodore 64, is there a way to hook them up to my TV better? Right now, I have one of those slider switches and I have reach around and plug in or unplug them as necessary. My VCR has an S-video jack right on the front. IS there some kind of adaptor from the coaxial cable like comes out of a Coleco or Atari (Gemini actuallY) and changes it to S-Video? Is there a 4 way switch that makes this easier when you have a lot of classic games and just one TV?

How would I play a "homebrew"? Are there cartridges for sale somewhere? I have a virtual coleco emulator in Windows XP but I think it doesn't work right sometimes.

Just saying hello, and thanks for a great site -- I'm learning a lot. My first video game was a B&W pong style console. It had a dozen variations and was fun. I then goofed off programming in Basic for the Timex/Sinclair 1000 computer. I was delighted with the massive 8K memory module upgrade for 300 bux! I had a 2600, of course, and finally did beat Raiders of the Lost Ark. But my favorite was probably my Colecovision. I had this "club" membership, sort of like those record or CD clubs where they send you a "selection of the month" automatically if you do not refuse it. The cool thing is that somehow this has left me with some cool games for my Coleco that it seems like not as many people had back then. I got Rock n Rope this way, also Spy Hunter, and Antarctic Adventure. I never got into the 5200, my neighbor had one and the only game I really coveted for my Coleco (Pacman) was a complete disaster on the 5200 because of the controllers. Anyway: A few months ago I had my parents ship me out my old Coleco Stuff and I figured out how to get it attached to my TV (thank you Radio Shack!). Its using the coax input but doesn't look too bad, although there is some static at times. It still works! Well, that's it for me. Just saying hello after all. BTW: What is the most rare game for Coleco Vision?
