My pleasure.

I want to earn the patch so I can spend too much money on eBay to put it on my wall.

I've been searching for a H.E.R.O. patch for the longest. Haven't seen one come up yet.

Hmm. I've never played this game, but will break out the Harmony and give it a go.
Thanks for the thread Opry99er.

Here's an example of the Sears Tele Games sticks.
She's beautiful. Would look great next to my Heavy Sixer.

I've waited a while to get my present(s). I'm extremely excited of what I got. Being an only child that goes to college, I don't have a lot of patience so I opened it up as soon as I got it!
So Im very excited about what I got. I got a christmas card of course, and the ever popular(for some reason) NES t-shirt. I also got a PACMAN t-shirt that Im wearing right now as I type this. (sorry no pic). I also got 3 musketeers candy! One of my favorites. Got the mint that I tried pretty good to be honest. I also got a history-like video game console book. Im actually very excited to read it. It seems pretty cool! I also got an awesome Atari Force poster that i've already hung up on my wall. I've heard a lot about the comics though I don't have any personally. Maybe I need to pick some up to celebrate my poster
anyone read them? They pretty good? Lastly I got an embroidered Atari Patch. Though to be honest, I don't know if its iron on or sew on patch. Though Its still pretty cool! Thank you to whoever got this for me. I'm extremely thankful.
The Encyclopedia of Game Machines is a cool book. I like it and I think you will too.
Very nice gifts!

So, it's now exactly three years since the first public version was posted. To celebrate the anniversary it's fitting to post another update

What's new:
- Mario can now jump immediately after getting off a ladder. Note that you still have to get the timing right. You cannot jump while still being on a ladder.
- Increased the horizontal collision overlap interval. Now Mario can overlap enemies by three pixels without getting hit.
- And finally, level progression for all stages. As there cannot be more enemy sprites, this is done by increasing the speed. Note that difficulty only depends on the level number. This means that if you play the US stage order, the elevator will already be fast when you encounter it the first time. This is in line with the arcade version. If you want to experience level 9 but do not want to train to reach it, you can also push the joystick up when starting the game from the title. It will then start with level 9.
There is always room for improvements, but as far as features go, everything that was originally planned is now there. If development couldn't continue, this is now a version I could live with.
I will now focus on some tweaking (e.g., colors) and it may even be possible to squeeze in one or more additional features (e.g., Pauline's items). In any case, I am shooting for a release candidate next year, right in time for D.K.'s 35th anniversary.
Merry Christmas!
Thank you

Played some Planet Smashers and scored over 150,000 in the Hard difficulty setting. Such an underrated game with a mix of Galaga, Asteroids, and Demon Attack. Fun game!
You have inspired me to try Planet Smashers. I've never played this game before.

Well, the person who I sent my Secret Santa package to has confirmed getting it, but he's one of the people who is waiting till Christmas to open it. Augh! Now I gotta wait over a week to see if they had the game already and if they like it, among the other things included -- I couldn't find a lot of info on them! Damn you!
(I'm joking, of course, but I am hopeful the contents are not duplicates
)My recipient is waiting until Christmas too. I also hope that they don't have a copy of the cart I included. Oh well...

I got a veritable cornucopia of gaming l00tz. Very nice! This will only be the second homebrew I have ever owned. Greatest American Hero was a favorite of my younger days, and I actually don't own it on DVD. (Interesting aside, I met both William Katt and Robert Culp on separate occasions and each gave them papers I had written about their work - House for Katt and The Outer Limits for Culp.) The issue of Nintendo Power will fill a hole in my NP collection.
Nice! The Greatest American Hero and a homebrew!

Space Instigators and Holiday QB are both fun. I hope you can pick up Stay Frosty.

24Fanatic365 is correct. The edladdin Supreme 78: All-Play4/8 joystick is legit. Anyone on the fence concerning this one, should go ahead and make the purchase.
By the way, Pengo is one of my favorites for the 2600. I don't think it gives enough love and it is addictive.

Lol! We record SNL each week and watched this earlier today.
I'm a gamer/collector. I only collect games that I want to play. If I make a mistake and realize I don't like a game, I try to find a new home for it.
I do however, have other collections like Hess Trucks and Wings of Texaco diecast planes.

Bob's games currently represent 28% (11 games in all) of my 7800 library. I expect it to increase to 33% in the new year as I want to purchase Meteor Shower and Space Dual.
Thanks Bob!
