  1. Note: The double shot works with the new 2600+ too. However, you have to turn the console on first, wait for the Atari logo to pop-up, then hold down the reset switch. When the game comes on the screen you can let go of the reset switch and you'll have the double shot. @bigfriendly Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Congratulations @Pat Brady for winning Best Music & Sound (Atari 2600 Port) for Elevator Agent.

Thank you all, without you we wouldn't have any of these amazing games, or such a great community!

  10. Congratulations to all of the Atari Awards nominees and winners. Can’t thank each of you enough for keeping the flame alive.🙂

  11. Sweet! Looking forward to the next demo, especially now that I have a 7800GD and Mega7800.🙂
  12. Just tested my Sega Light Phaser with the Mega 7800 and it was easily recognized when I loaded Alien Brigade 👍
  13. I received mine from the AA Store earlier this week too and whole heartedly agree, this piece of tech is brilliant. Love the Mega 7800 too. I'm going to have to purchase a 2nd Mega. +1 for R&V game compatibility. Look forward to playing it with save states.
  14. This looks and sounds great! Just received my 7800GD and just added v69 to it. Hope to really test it this weekend. Thank you @Atarius Maximus.
  15. IMO the 7800 is better, especially when paired with a CRT. A CRT will allow you to see the games the way they were meant to be seen (e.g., color blending and scanlines) and allow you to play the light gun and trak-ball games. In addition to the OG library, the console has an amazing homebrew library that you can take advantage of, including HOKEY, POKEY and YM2151 sound chip games. It’s also backwards compatible with the 2600, so you would get more gameplay out of a 7800 but you would lose the HDMI output. My daily driver is an S-Video modded 7800, and I have a couple unmodified, CIB consoles. My 2600+ will eventually occupy a space in our living room and probably get played mostly during our game nights. I do love that the 2600+ also handles HOKEY, POKEY and YM2151. Astro Blaster (XM), Donkey Kong XM/PK, Pac-Man Collection (XM)/40 Anniversary (YM2151) all sound amazing. Note: you won’t experience any lag with the original hardware and a CRT. Game On everyone!
  16. Yes! Mine just arrived. Thanks @Albert.
  17. I don’t own or have ever played Ghost Busters, but Tapper is great!
  18. Last one for today. Calling on all available Fighter Pilots! I loved playing the actual coin-op BITD and love playing this arcade quality homebrew version as well. My thanks to @PacManPlus. IMG_3915.mov
  19. Thank you. It’s a Starplex Controller. The only way to play Asteroids. If using an original 7800 console, hold down the pause button while starting up the game. If using the 2600+, do the following, right after the game starts (literally within a few seconds) Hold both buttons + Right at the same time (hold this for 3 seconds and release) It will then reset and start the game as though you were holding down the pause button.
  20. I recommend all three games. Btw, Gorf Arcade is available directly from Champ Games (CIB or ROM).
  21. Continuing with homebrews, I played the hidden OG version of Asteroids on the Asteroids Deluxe cart and quite a bit of Pac-Man 40th Anniversary.
  22. Yes! This is the closest to the arcade of any home console version. There are several threads about the game on AtariAge.
