see it's all puppy dogs, kitty kats, and playful polar bears, just as predicted... the packages are flowing the campaign of pain is over... though the cases and number of strains are now worse than ever and multiplying, while the weather is burying us in 29 or more inches of snow with piles of ice. The packages are flying to the doors... why I have 3 more packages to deliver for the postperson again... yep wrong house all usps deliveries for amazon... only off by 3 houses now so they're getting close to actually delivering to the intended recipients. W00t! We have more snow and ice coming though... another 6 it seems... USPS was just here at 8:10pm. As stated TF_HH is quality! Glad the people are getting the wonderful stuff finally -

fujinet 1.3's are fixed and available again then? -
maybe he is worried that you can't do DOS as one call and NOS as another... both utilizing mem.sav would be pretty nifty

she looks unaware, caught off guard, possibly looking for a clue...not a surprised look, sort of blank. It's a nice picture though -

I like Albert... it's really nice, and remember it wasn't going to be game.... and now it is. I think it was a great Valentine to AA. I give it a thumbs up. -

why do you feel compelled to speak for someone you don't know, and ascribe demands to people? The author already said he's going to do something for us, why do you want to discourage him then? We're talking in general at this point... and people have already made it so it works on NTSC by simply by-passing the check, half PAL machines formally locked out now play the game perfectly... as well as replacement modified chip machines, antix user, remakes, the like... so again panties in twist... buck up buttercup... the fixes are coming... It's already great for people who have PAL machines using other chips and solutions.. I love people becoming the defenders of the universe over stuff though. I found your response to my post more off putting in that you suggest people won't code for the Atari because folks talk about and debate stuff. Most of the people will contact us and have us play test and point out what needs fixing, and they are very happy to do it. They want their creation to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. At lest that's been my experience. If you don't speak up and do something you get nothing. I guess we could all find a way to convert as many Atari's as possible, but our friends over seas might not be able to repair their pal machines if we eat up all the parts and chips they need to do so... and I guess we all can buy PAL CRT's, monitors and such... but they are also in short supply.. if we were to do what you demand converting extra Ataris to pal, although you assume everyone has multiple Atari to do so... I'd say that's all beyond presumptuous. But hey that's just me interpreting you the same way you interpret me.. -

no one is demanding or threatening... buck up buttercup... I haven't met anyone upset to make something NTSC, unless they're just wore out from whatever they were doing and don't want to revisit it. Stop gaps may be done until they get around to doing a proper job. An if they don't someone gets around to it eventually.. -

Please don't worry about all this other stuff, the core disk based game is definitely the way to go, all that cheating stuff can be later so people can have their apples for apples comparison stuff another day... Yes Rom banked stuff can cheat in a myriad of ways, greater speeds and all that you mentioned. But as you say, that's for later. Don't let us distract you... -

I am over the moon happy that this is disk based and reportedly will run from Hard Drives as well as all other available media... Keep doing what your doing and pay no attention to any squabbles... they are a distraction and peeps will figure out what to do when it's all out and in our grubby little paws -

he wouldn't have to get rid of colors and the music could be lightened not removed, and if he where to drop empty scanlines at the top and bottom areas him might not need to do that... just pick NTSC colors and make vbi either not so big or deferred- all that other stuff should still be fine... it already works on NTSC before removing colors, maybe people could hack some slight pallette number adjustments in to show him? maybe someone speaking his language could explain approaches. -

Yes, as it would seem we can only have paper tape, and cassette versions, maybe 80something k or less disk, and my lord cartridge at 16k... better make that less than 48k max on memory usage well even less... and forget those GTIA colors... -

if the loader tries each divisor, and falls back on failure it will work for everyone as well.... false choices by you it would seem -

seems my 800 with CTIA does divisor zero, there were NEVER any SIO caps in it from factory... but, I guess you think somehow memory cards and cards with GTIA are not permitted mine came with thumb tabs... so I didn't need a screwdriver -

use a ram board that adds os under rom... research that, they were available... please stop making issues that don't exist, cram it in an unused buffer area also but I am sure you'll say he wants to use tape deck at same time... you see we know the game here... use a newell ram-rod board... that was also wide spread... and on and on it goes.. these are all slot cards and the like... but I bet there is some issue will be taken with these as well, your friend will no doubt have original 16k 800 without a screw driver and a CTIA board in it.
