  1. Looks like it will be box, cart and manual. There is a picture of the box in this thread on the last page.
  2. I have Gradius and Penguin Adventure and love both games. The box and manual are really nice. Probably the best I've seen for any homebrew or large game company. When Gradius is available again I want to pick up another copy for my brother. Will Penguin Adventure get another release?
  3. On top of what Swami listed could we also get manuals or at least something that shows number pad and button functionality?
  4. Just to help to give someone an idea of when they might get their Phoenix. I ordered mine 1/6/19 and received on 11/1/19.
  5. I would absolutely rather have a real box with manual. The only reason for the clamshell style is for storage and that is where I am at this point. Never been a fan storing loose carts.
  6. Was anything ever decided on this? I would purchase a box if available.
  7. This game is sweet on the 5200. Played it with the regular 5200 controller and it does a great job. Haven't tried it with my Masterplay clone yet. As soon as it is available in the store I'm hitting the buy button. Really wish the 5200 would get more love.
  8. Thanks for the games. Very cool of you to send them.
  9. I also am not an expert on this subject. To me the labels looks legit. The discoloration, glue bleed through and general label curling on the end labels show true age. I don't know why anyone would want to fake these games. From a rarity standpoint it doesn't make sense to choose these games to try and make some fake carts. My opinion is just that. Hopefully someone with more informations can chime in.
  10. I have the pictured games that I would like to find a home for. These are all CD-ROM games. It has been a few years since I played any of them so as is and free. I will pay for cheapest possible shipping but they all go together. As of right now I don't want to split them up because of the time and effort involved. If nobody takes the whole lot I would consider breaking it up but would ask for you to pay shipping on the individual items. Star Wars: Rebel Assault CIB Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2 CD-ROM only X-Wing vs Tie Fighter with docs X-Wing Collector series - CD-ROMs only Star Wars: Dark Forces CIB - Macintosh version Star Trek: Armada CIB
  11. I have a ColecoVision Super Game Module from Opcode that I would like to sale. I purchased it in the AA store with the intention of picking up a ColecoVision but never did. It is unused. This one is the 4th run IIRC. It has the redesigned box where the module is held in magnetically and the front folds shut and is held by a magnet. Really nice design. Looking to get $125 which includes shipping. SOLD
  12. Thanks for the link. I've never messed around with A8 emulation so I will give that a shot. Looks like the folks on that thread have been throwing a bunch of ideas around. I don't understand most of the programming stuff they are talking about but it looks like it might be possible with a large amount of work.
  13. I'm very much in agreement with you on not needing to see every game on every system. Original games or games that are a little more obscure are things I really enjoy. Take L.E.M. and Star Castle on the 2600 recently. While they have been on other platforms they really didn't make it to a console so I never had a chance to play them before. Real Sport Curling was a surprise. My concentration for this era of gaming has always been on the console side so there are many titles I've never had a chance to experience.
  14. I did a search of this forum and it has been a while since this was discussed. I didn't want to bump a years old thread so here goes. Now that the 2600 has a real Galaga after hearing for years it couldn't be done what about the 5200? For those who do not know Champ Games has released the demo and the AA Store will be selling it sometime after the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. I've linked the forum post below. The demo really shows again what the 2600 is capable of. From a technical standpoint could the 5200 actually do a good job at Galaga? I don't know programming or the limitations that the 5200 has to deal with. I also know the 2600 version has been helped with some new tech over the years. Seeing what is possible with the 2600, 7800 and ColecoVision lately makes me wonder about the neglected middle child of Atari. Unfortunately I think the support for this system is so small that getting a version of Galaga would probably never happen even if it was possible on the tech side. Just wanted to throw this out there. We have Tempest and the awesome Trak-Ball controller so I guess we are lucky to have be gifted with that.
  15. All I can say is amazing. Everything that is happening in the world of gaming around these older systems is really cool. This is one game that I never thought could be playable on the 2600. I just downloaded the demo for my Harmony and it is very nicely done. Can't wait to get the cart.
  16. I have a question and did do a search. Pretty sure I know the answer but wanted to be certain. This thread is fairly long and the info has changed a bit since it was started. My Phoenix should be here in October it looks like. Pre-ordered in January. I have a Super Game Module and I was going to pick up a modded ColecoVision but then the Phoenix happened. So I ordered the Phoenix. At that time I thought it was Super Game Module compatible. The information on the CollectorVision site states: Officially licensed Opcode SGM compatibility Built-in. Reading this thread it looks like I won't need the SGM because compatible actually means that SGM functionality is already present without needing the actual module. Is that correct and I will not need the actual SGM?
  17. Put me down for 1 cart for the Lynx 2.
  18. I have one of carts that you sold before doing the new label and selling in the AtariAge store. I would still be interested in a box as long as the design would look good for that version as well.
  19. Are you playing the actual cart version or the unfinished proto?
  20. This is what is looks like on my 4 port on a LCD TV. The picture doesn't look as good as the actual screen but I don't have the lines and yellowing that you have.
  21. I received my cart a few weeks ago. This is how Pac-Man on the 5200 should have been. Shipping was really fast. The cart and label are top notch. Using the original 5200 controller is very smooth. Thanks Perry!
  22. Very nice. That did the trick. This is very much appreciated!
  23. This game doesn't work for me for some reason. I get a blank black screen. This is with a 4 port 5200 with an Atarimax SD multicart. I've downloaded it a couple times to make sure it isn't a bad download. Your Dig Dug worked without any problems.
