It's part of a Funcoland reusable unit. Not sure if they used these in Kmarts as well, but they were most certainly used in Funcolands. They didn't just use them for Playstation. They had single and triple units that you could load with whatever popular system you wanted to advertise. Almost every Funcoland in America has some around 1996 - their take over by EB in early 2000s.

Ah, very cool, thank you!
Any idea on what the value of something like this would be?

Isn't this a PS2 kiosk since it has Gran Turismo 3 displayed at the bottom?
I was confused by this as well, but after testing it out with an actual system, there's no doubt it's for the PS1

I came across this beauty last weekend from a guy who said he bought it from a K-Mart that was closing. After some looking around on the internet, I can't seem to find any pics or information on it. So, either i suck at googling, or info on this thing seems pretty scarce. I'm looking for any information people might have on this, be it rarity, price, if I'm missing pieces (besides the obvious system/monitor), or anything else. Thanks!

The screen and controllers are very low to the ground, the controllers come up to about my knees...

It looks as though something may have been attached to the top at some point?

Hey,
Decided to start selling off a few of my games to get some extra cash for college. It's been a few years since I've really been into buying/selling games, so I don't really have much of an idea as to what a fair price for these would be. I know best offers aren't peoples favorites, but I don't really know how else to do it. I'm reasonable, so don't hesitate to send an offer or any questions my way, I'm sure we can work something out.
Planet Smashers comes with the box, but no instructions unfortunately. The box still has the shrinkwrap on it (with a slit cut in it to get the game out), but shows some light wear on the top flap. Overall in great condition.

Diner is also in excellent condition, but has a very slight mark on the right-hand side of the label, which looks like it's pen/pencil.

I don't have much to sell, but I would definitely go to buy. I know a couple of friends who would be interested too.

Fast payment, good communication, friendly guy. Thanks!

I've sold and bought stuff here a couple of times before, but it's been awhile so here's my ebay feedback...
NIB 7800 (I think) - Make an offer
I got this in a huge Atari lot off of Craigslist a while ago. The guy said it had never been used, except for the power supply (lost his other one, so he used the one from this NIB one) As far as I can tell it's brand new. I can always provide more pictures if you are interested. I'm not much of a 7800 collector, so I'm not sure what to ask on this one, so shoot me an offer.

11 Vectrex games w/ 4 overlays - $60 plus shipping
If you don't want to buy them all:
Game w/o overlay - $5
Game w/ overlay - $7
The Scramble overlay has a small chip in the lower right-hand corner as you can see in the picture

Dreamcast, 3 controllers, 4 games - $35 plus shipping

Light Sixer boxed - Make me an offer
This is a boxed light sixer made in Sunnyvale, CA. The serial number on the bottom of the console matches the one on the box, and it comes with a grey power supply. Again, not sure what to ask for this, so shoot me an offer. I can get you more pictures if you want them.

If you have any questions or want any more pictures, just send me a PM!

I don't know what it is, but I like collecting Game Boys and Game Boy Colors too. Is there any reason you're saving up so many?
-
Not only is it a really fun game, but it breaks into an awesome harmonica solo at the title screen.
-
I'll see what's going on that weekend. Hopefully something will work out.
-
As awesome as the get together sounds, I have to say it seems like it would be a bit too awkward to have an 18 year old hanging out with a bunch of 30-ish year olds. Hopefully you keep on having it, and maybe in a couple of years...
-
Did you get those from Destiny Games? Because it just so happens I went in there to browse a couple of nights ago and I noticed those games, but I didn't have any money on me. I came in the next day... boy was I disappointed. Congrats on your finds though, that's a heck of a haul
So much for my secret spot... Yep that's where I got them. The rest of the store was nice, but there was nothing like the Intellivision game stash. All I can guess is that someone dumped their entire Intellivision collection. The guys who ran the shop were nice, I'll definitely go back there.
You coming to the SE Michigan get together?
Tempest
I haven't heard anything about it before now, when will it be and what exactly is it? I'm definitely interested

Overall the store is pretty nice, they have an excellent selection but their pricing can be all over the place. Some games (like the Intellivision games) you get excellent deals on, but some are way overpriced (like the TurboGrafx section) I found his PS1 selection to be particularly great, though.

Wow, congrats on your awesome find! And to think that you and I share the same Craigslist! I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that add too
I've got a really nice deal I will be sharing soon.I will be a bit busy until Sunday. Once I get a moment I'll snap some pics and send you all a great one!

Just thought I'd share my find with you.
I wanted to make sure it was in my hands prior to mentioning anything. However, this is a lot that I got from Craigslist for $100.
I was going to just get the games (I have too many systems as it is) but talked to the owner and decided to buy the whole lot for his asking price of $100
In the ad, it was not listed as having some of the games that you see in the picture. I asked for a picture to be sent to my hotmail as I could not even see the craiglist ad picture well enough to make out the games. In the ad, Montezuma's Revenge was listed as being in the lot. So I was kind of interested in grabbing it for that and the pitfall 2 and Rampage boxes. Imagine my surprise when I opened the picture in hotmail to find the real star of this lot.
I'll let you find it as well
(and no... it is not the combat cart)Yes... all manuals are there as well!

Wow, great find Stitch. That oughta be a great conversation piece.I had a pretty good day at the flea markets:
Saturn w/ 2 controllers, DOOM, and memory backup cart: $10
Darius Twin (SNES) and Oink! for $5
Robo Aleste (Sega CD) $10
Intellivision II missing power supply $5
It will also save me a lot of time and money if I want to import. Also you has some pretty good finds as well.
Thanks, I'm pretty psyched to play some Robo Aleste. I didn't even think about import games, that's a huge plus.

Thrifts were very nice to me today! I was actually surprised!I passed on a boxed Pacman Coleco tabletop thing for $40. I may go back and get it.
However, I did pick up the following:
Atari 2600 Sealed All $3
Star Voyager
Super Football
Dark Chambers
Super Breakout
Phoenix
Sentinel
Venture
Not sealed but still has the wrapping: All $2
Space Invaders (Red Label)
Desert Falcon
Moon Patrol
And I picked this up at the same place:
NES Final Fantasy ($20)
Complete... all maps, etc. Perfect conditioned box with the shrink wrap still on it (except where it was opened)
Loose Atari 2600 carts picked up for $20 at a different location: All of these are Rarity 5 or above except for one is a 4
Marine Wars
Star Wars Arcade Game
Survival Run (no end label)
Cross Force
Artillery Duel (single cart)
Beam Rider
Not a bad haul for about $60 total
Did you by any chance get those sealed 2600 carts and the Final Fantasy from Taylor Town?
-
Wow... what an accomplishment!
:-o
Congrats! -

Shhh, don't tell any collectors!

Was the DK Jr the Coleco version or Atari's re-release?
It's the Atari version... is there any difference between the two?

Not bad, not bad. So do these have an official name then? I can't seem to find any pics or anything about them anywhere on the internet... I mean I know you just told me everything I wanted to know about it, but I'm just curious as to what it would actually be called. Thanks!
