Feedback Question - Beware Of Seller videogames.org!
Ed Siegler replied to Ed Siegler's topic in Auction Central
That's the same problem I had. Sure, he had about 75 or 80 negs, but at the time he had 21,00 positives. Thaought that wasn't bad. After I ordered, a flood of negatives came in. -
He got away with this one too...

Anyone have a set that they'd be willing to sell? I missed the auction for these last night and am looking for some. Any help would be appreciated.

Feedback Question - Beware Of Seller videogames.org!
Ed Siegler replied to Ed Siegler's topic in Auction Central
Duly noted... -
The seller ended the auction early to the highest bidder, so it really wasn't a "real" auction. Most likely what happened with that Crazy Climber auction is that the high bidder made an offer to the seller to end early, which they did.

When is the last day possible to leave feedback for an auction? I bought these two Sears Video Arcade II joysticks from seller videogames.org via Buy It Now on December 27th of last year. To date, they have not been received. A fraud report has been filed, i have his contact info (no good), a report with PayPal has been filed, but since the item was less than $25, I was more or less told to go scratch. The seller is a total ass. He apparently sells a shitload of cheaper priced stuff, and if his negative feedback is read, all of it is from missing shipments of cheaper items that the seller blames the post office for loosing. All requests are met with an automated response. This ass also does retalitory negative feedback. I have no negatives, but am willing to risk getting one to leave another for him. I'm gonna most likely leave it tword the end of the allowable period, whenever that is. Stay away from this ass. He blames everyone else, even the postoffice, for multiple missing auctions.

Why is he bragging about his feedback?

The Motherload!!!! 157 games and 5 systems compleat!
Ed Siegler replied to Dr evill's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
actually lol we lol could lol care lol less lol too lol! i too can see that you joined here just to get an opiniopn on your auction lol! For Christ's sake, nothing like picking something up for $75, bragging about it here, and then trying to rip others off by saying $400 firm. Furthermore, when you get lambasted about that, it "magically" appeared on EPay for $300. You know what...don't even bother. I agree you got a good deal on that stuff for $75. At best, it's worth $150. You should be happy to even make a buck instead of trying to rip others off, especially in their own community. -
The absolute worst case of fee avoidance I have ever seen!!
Ed Siegler replied to devils advocate's topic in Auction Central
I just sold a load of WASP and Ozzy videos on EBay. The buyer didn't send the total payment for the priority shipping he wanted, but what he sent wasn't enough for parcel. I sent it to him media mail and refunded him $5. He sent me an email saying he couldn't believe it and thought it was generous to give him his $$$ back. Not true. It's his, he deserves it. I hate sellers who gank buyers with outrageous charges. -
I wonder who then...
-
I know I'll be gettin a few of those...

There's gonna be a sniper out on that one, I guarunteeee it!

My "guess" is that it will settle around $150 thanks to the newbies. I didn't want to go off on a full rant. We're not here to flame each other, but to the seller...A lot of people around here get offended by people pulling stunts like you did. I'm all out for making a profit, but without a picture, and the list of very common games, mostly duplicates there, makes a lot of people wary of a seller like that. We'd basically be going on your word that the stuff is what it is. Those systems are also not complete. You'd be best off dropping your reserve and letting it go for whatever it does. -

Did you just need an idea what to list that for? What was the point in asking people here, especially in multiple categories? Did you think someone would just blindly fork over $400 for that collection? I have been selling stuff for a while and I'll be honest. The earlier guesses of anywhere from $100 to $200 is more like it. A lot of people pick up a large lot of stuff for a cheap price. A large majority of those people do not expect to make a huge profit on that either. A profit on the sale is fine, but even the $300 is way out of line. -

Though that is a large collection, $400 is a bit pricey, especially since there isn't a list of everything. If there is a few 7's or even a couple of 8's in there, maybe, but it would be nice to have a list to see what is there. Is it 157 individual games or are there dupes? The systems, are they complete with a pair of paddles, two joysticks, and a power supply for each? Has everything been cleaned and tested? -
Hell, I'd love to buy one completed if one ever turns up for sale.
-
I wouldn't mind picking up an extra copy as a spare and one as a "never use" as I use the hell out of the one I have. Is this how to obtain the two I am looking for or is there an ordering email?

And wait out the people who spend all their money before the auction. A bunch of people are tapped out and a deal or two could be had.
