  1. For anyone that is cost consciencous about the accomodations, there is a Hampton Inn Suites about 4 miles from the convention that the rates are usually a bit less than the convention center's rates. On top of that, there is also a Motel 6 that will leave the light on for ya' about 5 or so miles away in King Of Prussia. Both hotels are within a 5 minute easy drive from the convention. Just a suggestion...
  2. It's actually just gonna be nice to be around the same kind of ilk that I am proud to call myself. Kind of like that bumble-bee girl in Blind Mellon's No Rain video.
  3. When we talk, I'll let you know what my plan of attack was. I was determined NOT to be outbid.
  4. I don't have a hell of a lot of boxes, mainly loose stuff with manuals. I'm on a manual kick now.
  5. Actually that was the first one of those I ever got. With the Klax one, I accidentally fell into that one about an hour and a half before it ended and absolutely could not believe that only one person bid on it in that time. I found it at $300, and it went up to $340 with an hour left and sat at that. I couldn't find it in my heart to get into a sniping war with you my man. Just can't.
  6. It was taken down. What the hell was that auction about? I didn't see it before the powers to be at EBay ganked it.
  7. I agree with the sniping as the part of the game thing. Sometimes I do feel bad though. I have gotten my sniping abilities honed in to a bid within 3 or four seconds left. It does help having a T-1 connection to aid that. What I feel bad about is that I sniped the same poor bastard on two auctions that ended within 5 minutes of each other. When I got home and checked my email, I was greeted with a huge fonted "F**K YOU!" I felt bad.
  8. I picke this one up last night. Sounds like the Supercharger may just need some cleaning. Does this one look good? I didn't understand why it sat around as long as it did. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3005785553&rd=1
  9. I thought they may have been wiped just for the sheer fact they were tied into that crap.
  10. What a total and complete ass... No amount of negatives can describe this filth. At least EBay threw his lame ass out along with a slew of thos people that left him the negs. I guess they got the boot for spam negs and for bidding on that stuff to begin with. I'll say it one more time... What a total and complete ass!
  11. Well Sweet, whatever it's name was...is no more Mister -5 feedback is no longer a registered user.
  12. Well, I found another one of those EBay auctions with 500 2600 games for the PC, but we lost power for two hours and I cannot remember the title of that auction. If anyone finds it, maybe it's time for more reporting to EBay on this one.
  13. I just received an auction from Bones. He did a great job with the packaging and he got the stuff out quick. Thanks!
  14. This is a list of what I need to get a couple of 2600s and two joysticks working again. I have been trying to get a hold of orphan video games, but I have been getting the runaround and am tired of waiting for a response. If anyone has any of this stuff, or knows where I can get it from, please let me know. Even if you have a fried system, I can bastardize parts from it... Felt washers for console selector switches A momentary "reset" switch A power jack A joystick insert A joystick boot Any help would be greatly appreciated Ed PS - I'm still searching for an internal and an external RF cable (one for a 4 switch, one for a Jr.)
  15. So, "Goo Gone" is what I should get and "should" get this creepy crud off of the case (and is also the water based, correct?)? I work in a Boiler Room. Unfortunately, I have many scars from chemical burns over the years. You think one would get smart and use protective gear. I'll shield my face, but I shoud be better with covering my arms.
  16. Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm no nightshift, so I'll pick it up on the way in. You gotta have something to occupy your time at work, right? Can't have those pesky work responsibilities keeping you busy, right? Is it called Goo Gone" or Goo Be Gone"? Just so I know what to look for.
  17. Well, I tried the Windex, and then the Palmolive wash, but this stuff was pretty strict. I just bought a cheapy toothbrush and used some De-Solv-It, and it took about 95% of the stuff off. I want to try this Goo-Gone/Goo-Be-Gone. Can I get this at WalMart or Home Depot?
  18. This "stuff" almost looks like ground in dirt, almost a mold like growth of some kind.
  19. Squeaky Clean? I just read thru that thread and other than De-Solv-It, Fantastic, and Simple Green, I did not see any mention of "Squeaky Clean". Is that some kind of cleaner?
  20. I have a Sears Video Arcade II that the shell is in good shape, but it's got some pretty funky dirt on it that simple soap and water doesn't get off. Anyone have any idea what kind of cleaner/mild degreaser I can use to clean this thing up?
  21. Does anyone have a copy of Activision Checkers that they would be willing to sell off? If so, please let me know.
  22. I was unaware that there is a difference. Thanks for the insight. I actually need one of each.
