Thank God you where only here to pimp these couple games and will be lost into the ones and zeros in no time flat now that they are sold. Well at least until you come across another uncommon game you don't know anything about and want to talk it threw the roof and into your wallet I don't see why I'm a dick for finding a rare game and putting it on eBay. If you want to call someone an asshole, what about the guy with the Miner 2049er and Bounty Bob 5200 funpack for a BIN of $750+? You say I know nothing about it, but how much do all of you know? Did you program the game? Did you sell the game new in your own store at some time in the past? Have you bought or sold dozens of copies? No, so why are you giving me crap for arbitrarily picking a value and making a BIN? People on other forums said it probably could've sold for more, heck, I don't know. Am I supposed to just give away a rare game because I'm not "on the scene" enough to "deserve" the money? Besides, this was basically a fund raiser for the Play N Trade I work for, I'm only pocketing half of the profit (after shipping and fees) in store credit. The owner was screwed out of $19,000 from the start, so I think going a little high on Bounty Bob isn't the worst thing going on in the world right now. It's starting to sound to me like a bunch of people pissed that they couldn't take advantage of a rare find, sorry I'm not a grandma cleaning out my attic and selling it for $1. On every other forum I belong to, most people are glad when someone shows up with something rare, but then again nothing that I collect has anything quite this rare so its hard to even make the comparison. I was letting the people know, and apparently it worked, if you guys find a CIB Chrono Trigger, by all means, spam the ever loving hell out of the SNES forums. If you find a Stadium Events cart, go on over to the NES forums and wait for someone to open their checkbook.

why are you guys so negative? I named a price and someone agreed to pay that price, so that makes it a scam? A Nintendo World Championship 1990 gold cart has sold for like $25,000, so that's a scam, right? It's not like it was SMB/Duck Hunt selling for $150, shit, I've even seen that sell some places for $20 or even $30! now THAT is a scam! Copy for copy I bet the 8-bit version is less common than the 5200 version, and selling for about half of the 5200's price seems fair to me.

I don't even think twice about what people charge for shipping, I just consider the price+shipping the price and decide from there if its worth it. I don't care if someone wants to sell me a $30 item for 99¢ + $29 shipping. From what I hear, people started doing that to circumvent eBay fees, but that may have changed more recently. I don't blame you at all for negging him with response, that was a really unprofessional thing to say. If he was even half competent he would've said "that price includes all handling and packaging fees prior to the actual shipping" or even been more honest and just said "I do it to reduce my seller fees." I'm kind of getting fed up with some of the idiots selling things on eBay/Amazon lately. Granted, its hard to ask for good customer service when dealing with $10-$20 worth of items, but if you aren't going to do it right, don't sell it. I'm really annoyed with people on Amazon that list it as "Very Good" condition and you get it and it has food all over it or even worse mold/verdigris. I just recently had not one but TWO separate sellers have excellent working laserdisc players listed and when I got them they both were broken. Neither seller adequately packed the player (I even warned the second seller that the first one had been damaged in shipping) nor wrote "fragile" anywhere in any form on the box. When I ship out those atari computer games, those bad boys are getting wrapped in bubble wrap and getting warnings written like they're made of 1mm thick glass.

actually, those stickers are/were incorrect (I'm actually selling it on behalf of the Play N Trade I work for, those stickers claim they are for the Atari 5200, as you can see, that is completely wrong), I just wanted to leave it up to the buyer about removing them. I already stated in the auction I can remove them, but some people are picky about how they want stuff cleaned so I will let the buyer decide what they want done. I have no problem cleaning all of it, but only after someone has already paid for the auction and given the go ahead because, again, some people don't want certain chemicals/cleaners/methods/etc. used on their precious precious games. Also, again, I can guarantee you there is no working Atari computer for miles and miles from where I live, you may think the town where you live it is uncommon to find vintage systems/computers, but considering where I live was cow pasture 30 years ago and has grown exponentially since the late 80's, there simply isn't that much in terms of older technology. And, for a third reiteration, I don't want to do a DOA guarantee because I have no way of knowing if the buyer just doesn't know what they're doing or has a broken computer, etc. As I've already said, I have seen dozens and dozens of games returned as "broken" and then tried them myself and had them work perfectly. I'm not going to give a 100% refund because someone is either lying or doesn't know what he's doing. This is the exact reason why I never bothered to sell anything on eBay before.

I don't know how much closer I can get and the camera actually focus. Suffice it to say the labels are as good as I can imagine a 20-30 year old game label being. I am extremely picky about condition and considering what terrible materials the bounty bob and miner labels are made from, they are in exceptional condition. You obviously do not know all that much about vintage cartridges, I have seen shrinkwrapped games (read: MINT) that were dead. A.) Not tested. B.) Sold AS IS. C.) BBSB is a $75-$80 title. D.) There are far more rare titles on that system. My guess of 50 bucks is not far off. BTW, I have no interest in A8 games, so don't think I am trying to talk you down in price. Just stating my opinion. My experience with vintage cartridges goes back to 1985, I don't deal with or collect anything older than NES, I'm just selling some games I came across because I know Bounty Bob happens to be valuable. If BBSB is a $80 title, then why can't it +7 other games be worth $80 untested instead of $50? Is anyone buying a game like this REALLY buying it to play it? I don't think anyone that buys Stadium Events for NES is buying it to whip out the ol' NES mat and go to town, they're planning on never even putting it in the system and displaying it like a Monet painting. I think chopping the value in half for untested is a bit much, in my experience any cartridge for NES and newer may lose 10% of its value for being untested, and that's for common games people intend to play. It would be one thing, again, if this was for a common system like an NES or even a 2600, but where on earth am I going to find an Atari Computer in working condition? I would offer a money back guarantee for DOA, but how am I supposed to know if the person buying it just isn't doing something right? I can't tell you how many times people have brought games back to Play N Trade and when I throw them in a system (usually without even cleaning them first) they work first try. Now, if someone is genuinely interested and wants a specific picture of something, I can oblige, but testing this is just too unrealistic of a demand for a system so obscure I've never seen one before.

Bounty Bob Strikes Back and Miner 2049er

Not in line with gamestop's prices? Most games we sell either match or beat the prices GameStop charges. I agree to an extent that you could do better on your own, but Play N Trade does have alot to offer that would be a bitch to get a hold of independently (distributors, repair documents, operations manuals, etc.) -

I don't quite get what you mean there. "They are being raped by the owners 'ha' "...who is they and what owners? All Play N Trades are franchises and its only like a 3% franchise fee to corporate. Your local store has nothing to do with the store I work for, they are all fully independent (unless maybe 2 or 3 in an area are owned by the same person). I'm not really helping the store so much as the owner which is swamped in debt and was embezzled out of $19,000 by his former partner from the start. Even when I no longer work there, I still want it to be around because its a good place to buy from and they give alot more back to the community than any other game store I've ever been to. In fact, his low prices and specials are a big part of the reason he is having such a tough time right now. I mean, he gives about 40% and sometimes higher on trades, thats like double or sometimes even triple of what GameStop gives. Oh, and as for mistaking the cartridge, I am not nor ever have been an Atari collector in any sense of the word. Not so much that I'm a hater or think I'm too good for it, but IMO anything prior to the NES just doesn't really appeal to me on a huge level in terms of gameplay, that coupled with the fact that most Atari systems I've come across were in crap condition and are far overpriced. I one day plan to own at least a 2600 with 10-20 commons and hopefully a 7800 with Ninja Golf, but overall my expertise and collecting concentrated on systems made between 1985 and 1995, the best 10 years of video games IMO. -
Bounty Bob Strikes Back and Miner 2049er

...ok...but how much are they worth? Right at $100 for both. Miner 2049er around $15 and BBSB at $80-85. ok, not as much as I was hoping ($250+ for BBSB for 5200 ), but at $100 it sure beats $4, lol. My $50 take should buy me a few odds and ends to keep my rampant Genesis collection growing and jumpstart my XBOX collection (just got one for $15, softmodding here I come ) -

here's the pics: I'm not even sure exactly what system bounty bob is even for now...let me know if you guys know anything about what system these are actually for and what the value is. -
You guys aren't going to believe this: I found Miner 2049er for Atari 400/800/1200xl and Bounty Bob Strikes Back for 5200 at the Play N Trade I work for. I could've just paid the $1.99 price for each and ran, but considering the financial shit he's in (opening a Play N Trade almost purely on loan is a hard thing to do) I'm going to sell it on behalf of the store for 50% of the auction price. I'm going to take pictures later today, but I just want to know what the value of these games are and if anyone is interested. This is going to eventually end up on eBay, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up since there is probably more than a few on here that want to own the rarest 5200 game ever made and probably a fairly rare version of Miner 2049er. And if you're wondering about condition, they are in pretty damn good shape for being ~25 years old with full labels with only minor discoloration and about a 1 cm diameter blemish on bounty bob on the top left of the label. Hope you guys can help me save a Play N Trade (the best franchise game store around) and put a nice chunk of video game buying funds in my pocket . Oh, and once it is on eBay, I will do almost anything reasonable to validate it is a real auction: pictures, youtube video, you name it. Shipping will also be totally negotiable depending on how safe you want it to be shipped.
