Hello, Thanks to everyone for all their support over the years. We will continue business as KNURDZ Entertainment Group. After careful and lengthy consideration we have decided it is best to focus on our largescale projects. In doing so we have been considering the idea of selling OlderGames in it's entirety. This will not affect pre-orders of our new releases or pending sales of our products. All pre-orders for our new Frog Feast editions will be shipping today. It is with a heavy heart that myself, my colleagues, and our company take our final bow today and move on to bigger things. We look forward to our future with KNURDZ. And will always remember the good times. If we find another company to purchase the OG assets you can expect great things. There were, and are many pending projects in our portfolio and with a strong focus and new leadership, OlderGames will become stronger than ever. For more information visit: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=577726 Thank you for the years of memories, RW BIVINS CO-FOUNDER OF OLDERGAMES.COM

OlderGames replied to OlderGames's topic in Atari Jaguar
Leonard, I was out of town. The run was increased due to demand, I will have the site updated in a few days. I don't read every post on every forum because I am a very busy person but I try to answer, and communicate the best I can. I'm one person, not an army. -

I did not mean to imply that I had been "sold the rest" of the LE's, only that I have a quantity in stock. Presumably OlderGames still has some of the LE themselves, and can take care of your order properly. Correct. We don't screw people over. Your order will ship at the end of the week. As I have already stated, I was out of town on business and we are playing catch-up right now. We still have plenty of numbered copies left. -

Hello, I'm posting this message to let everyone know that our company is happy to announce we will be shipping three new versions of 'FROG FEAST' on November 15th. The new editions include Dreamcast, Amiga CD32, and FM Towns MARTY. ---------------------- DETAILED INFO: ---------------------- From RasterSoft's Homepage: "On August 20th, 2005 Frog Feast was unleashed on the unsuspecting public, courtesy of OlderGames. In the two years Frog Feast has been around, it's been released on 12 different console or arcade systems. Many of the supported systems are hard to find systems from Japan, or other uncommon machines not owned by many people. Frog Feast is the first release in many years on a number of these systems. In addition, demos have been released on four additional systems. Two of the four unreleased version are nearing completion, which will bring the number of releases to 14. The release of Frog Feast is a the realization of a goal set over 10 years ago; which is to support orphaned or abandoned game systems." OlderGames.com announces two new products 8/7/2007!
OlderGames replied to OlderGames's topic in Atari Jaguar
Unfortunately due to the entire run seemingly turning out to be defective we had to cut all shipments and sales (including NWCGE) until replacements became available. The defective product run has been a difficult situation for all parties involved: you guys, us, nwcge, charles. We don't intend on repeating this ever again. As much as I would love to have made the copies available at the show I could not do so with a clear conscience as the copies we had at the time were most likely not functional. On another note: We will be sending replacement disks to all customers who have contacted Charles about getting them before Wednesday as we now have tested, functioning, working copies of the game. This includes the shipping of all pending orders which have not been sent. I feel horrible about how this situation played out. This is the first time in over six years that we have ever issued a recall on any of our products and I and our company will do everything in our power to make things right for our customers. If you need a replacement copy follow Charles' instructions and we will ship you a new disk before the end of the week when we send out replacements in bulk. -- RW -

Hello, I've been out of town and just received word on this issue. Please remain patient as I will need to get with my colleagues and put together some sort of replacement program for those affected by these problem disks... Relax man. Although I have every intention of supporting your show the decision for the early release was made by Mr. Doty. Seeing as Frog Feast is his baby, I'm in no place to tell him to hold off on it. LNF3 remains a show debut, along with another project. -

Hello, I have decided to go with full kits and a candy cab. I'm not an expert on MVS as I mostly collect the homecarts but to make a long story short I'm putting up a 4-slot mobo and some loose MVS carts for sale here. The mobo looks very clean and IMHO works but if you have any issues with it at all I will be more than happy to refund and accept a return on it as I am currently unable to test it (sold the cab about six months ago). The carts are mostly gamer condition to poor but do work. I'm looking for an offer on the lot of it or fair offers on what you are interested in. Because I'm not on the up-and-up of the MVS market and the condition of the games I will let them go cheap and I don't know what to ask. Here are the pix: Games are as follows: ====================== Cyber Lip Samurai Show Down 3 The King of Fighters '94 The King of Fighters '95 The King of Fighters '97 The King of Fighters 2001 ====================== Feel free to hit me up with offers via' PM. I'm open to just about any reasonable offer. I don't need this laying around my house anymore and am doing some summer cleaning. Thanx!

Now taking pre-orders on OlderGames' CGE releases...
OlderGames replied to OlderGames's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Hello, We are working on a ton of stuff at the moment but to answer a few of your concerns: Sega Saturn: Lost & Found 2 =================== It's best to compare this release to the Jaguar packs released a while ago. We are still deciding on the contents but there will be a minimum of 3 disks in the set with CGE2K7 exclusive artwork: Rebellion, Return Fire, and we are still debating on which other disks to include. We realize that Return Fire was recently dumped, we are unsure if it's the same one that we have as ours is complete and we have had it for nearly 2 years. There will also be another one or two developer demo / tech demo disks and / or prototypes. We want to make both editions distinguishable from each other and are still finalizing each editions contents and artwork. Commodore 64: Silo64 =================== I am unsure of what this game was developed with as far as the middleware is concerned. That is a question best suited for Seth, the author of the game. Sorry it took us a while to post a response to your questions. We have been busy as hell and are working on no less than 6 new products this year. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion on this matter. Thank you all for your support! We will see you at CGE2K7! -

Authentic - A.V.P. Lynx Prototype on EbaY!
OlderGames replied to OlderGames's topic in Auction Central
There is an immediate need to raise capitol @ oldergames.com and it's either put it in a drawer and not do anything with it, or pass it onto someone else and use the sale the money for our companies growth. The game honestly means nothing to me other than status and we have that already. I'd rather give it to someone who actually gives a crap about owning it. I know thats a sad thing to say, but I'm not one for lying. I figure in this auction I'm killing 2 birds with one stone - money + giving it to someone who can appreciate it's very historical value. I don't need the money as much but it works out in both ways nonetheless.
