I think we need balls with embedded computers inside that can monitor the ball's PSI. It can then be checked remotely during a game via RFID.

How would that help them any?

Not sure who you mean by "them", but if it's possible to continuously check the pressure of the ball throughout a game, officials will know it the instant someone tries to use a deflated ball. It's a way of closing off one possible way of cheating.
