It's been a very long time since I bought a new CD. They seem all bulky and fragile now. Once they were so shiny and cool.

I've actually bought a bunch of CDs at Walmart in the last couple years - $5 bin has good classic rock and metal. I bought Metallica's Hardwired at Best Buy a year or so ago because I happened to be in there for the first time in many years and browsed around. I was going to get it at some point anyways. I think that was the last time I was in a Best Buy. I mostly buy used CDs from local record shops or flea market dealers. I get most new CDs from Amazon.

I'm all for shops carrying vinyl. If people are buying music, and enjoy the physical packaging, more power to them!
