I actually agree. While I wouldn't call it "mental illness" I think there should be counseling and support for these kids who may be having a really hard time with their sexual identity, and I don't think gender reassignment is a decision a child should make.

I couldn't name a member here actively involved in piracy/counterfeiting, it' more of something that is discussed and cheered. Look at anyu discussion of a rare game that is 'repro'd, like MUSHA. There is no shortage of cheering by members here of repro rare games being sold on ebay.

Any game that is pricey and rare seems to the hooray counterfeit crowd all riled up for fakes, like Battlesphere, MUSHA, loads of SNES game...to many to list really. I may have sounded like Atari Age was involved with it directly, which is not the meaning of my words

This sounds more like an overall problem with communities surrounding these individual consoles than anything AtariAge-related. I know many people here have spoken against the various Battlesphere reproductions, and I have personally removed posts advertising such reproductions. It definitely seems to be more tolerated with some consoles, though. I'm sure it's easy to pick some specific examples of individuals "cheering" on reproductions, but I don't think it's fair...
