I don't think it's bragging, per se,...It's just a slice of life, and sometimes it's fun to talk about; to compare different parts of the world...Like when we're all talking about how cold it is and the Australian guy can say it hit 108 degrees there, or we talk snow, CPUWIZ is like "I'm wearing shorts"

    Bump 9 year old thread, maybe time for a new one? Any good emulators for Gamecube? I tried Dolphin with default pc graphic card, just got black screen. Any good PS2 emulators? I tried a few, one was missing/needed a dll another i just got black screen. All 3 need bios and rom bin can't remember the names now but one of them in the bios folder it had a dummy bio named blow.me LOL WTF!!

      Win 8.1 was perfectly fine. It's alleged awfulness is yet another PC-myth.

      ^ I'm afraid not. Win 8 earned its reputation as a "confusing hellstew," and 8.1 wasn't nearly enough of an improvement. It's tolerable with Classic Shell and the like, but it's no surprise that Win 8.x has all but disappeared.

      Windows 8.1 is good for using on TV's, there's an app you can navigate the Start screen with a Xbox controller.

       

      But for a desktop environment I like how Win 10 puts mobile apps in a window along side my other Windows programs.

      save2600 I'm kind of that way too. I have a ton of Twilight Zone on DVD, but if the description doesn't ring a bell, I'll watch it on DISH (Syfy) usually as I'm falling asleep.

      I always considered Smash TV the sequel to Robotron. What IS maybe the great-uncle to Robotron, at least via story, is Blaster. :)
