  4. Bought three C64 disk games from him. A pleasure to deal with
  5. Now that's a cool portable project Great video, btw
  6. Just to be sure, the mod can only be used on NTSC consoles, right? Hey Breakpack, Yes the 2600 you have has the V1 (actually you might have a pre V1 ). The Upgrade is a self install only. Yes this mod works excellent on HDTVs with S-Video.
  7. Tried the game today. It is GREAT! Wish I had it when I was younger. I'll also wait for the release and get me a copy
  8. Hi, I'm waiting for a 2-port 5200 to arrive soon, and was looking into the power supply issue (220V - 50Hz here) After reading some posts, I still have some some questions: The 5200 power supply output for the 2-ports is 9.3 VDC at 1.95A, but you say you can use anything between 9V and 13V ¿even 12V? The DC supply for the 4-port model gives 11,5V if I'm not mistaken, so I see the 12V more fit for the 4-port So, Anybody is using a 12V DC supply with a 2-port system? The jack is 2.5, 3.5 or something different? Any other power supply can be used, like the one for the 2600? Another option would be using a 220V - 110V transformer. These give you the appropiate AC Voltage but 50Hz. Is there any problem with that? Anybody is using them with US consoles? Thanks and Merry Xmas!!
  9. I have bought from USA, Canada, Japan, China, UK, Australia, Germany, Austria, Holland, France and of course Spain. I'm waiting for 2 packages to arrive from Brazil and Mexico. I've never bought from Italy because of the completely crazy shipping cost they have (a guy asked me 50€ to send a Commodore 128) The UK is also quite expensive - and the only "lost in mail" package I've had came from the UK. Shipping from Honk Kong is ridiculous, you might think the mail is free there. My favourite is Germany and its "satellites" - Austria and Switzerland, because they are PAL zone, 220V and same plug as in Spain. Being in Schengen means we have no frontiers, so it's like a national package.
  10. I could make good use of a bundle of common cartridges. When my 2600 died like 20 years ago, my mother gave all my games to my cousins. I bought some months ago a new one and the only game I have is Phoenix. I really miss playing Adventure, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark... I might be the only human being willing to buy a COMBAT cartridge! So that "choose 10" thingy sounds nice. If you make a PAL one, I would be interested.
  11. Interested in some C64 games, I send you a PM
  12. Hi there, first post in this nice forum. Maybe somebody can offer me some of the things I asked Santa this year. I'm looking for: - Atari 5200 system (boxed) with tested controllers, also open to some games. - BOUGHT - Adventure 2 for the Atari 5200. - BOUGHT - Atari 5200 flashcart - Boxed Videopac G7000 or better still, boxed Videopac G7400 . BOUGHT (G7400, but unboxed) - The Voice module for Videopac/O2 - Virtual Boy: AC adapter, games: Galactic Pinball, Wario Land (boxed if possible), Flashboy I live in Spain so bear that in mind for the shipping cost. I normally buy from eBay (nick:etherpawn) so I use Paypal. I've seen here many anti-Paypal people so we can try something else if Paypal does not suit you, provided we, er, trust each other. Thanks for your time!
