    nope, just swap the 2 pin french thing for a proper 3 pin plug. The voltage is fine. The coleco PSU outputs 2 voltages via separate pins think it is 12volt and 5 volt, so you would need 2 power supplys to replace the standard one, or do lots of messind around to drop voltages etc etc.

    Keep the standard PSU, clean the power switch,buy and Atarimax 128-in-1 flash cart, and congratulations on your purchase

     

    There are no issues with french consoles in non-SECAM countries? I thought their standard was a bit different from ours (PAL UK - Spain - Germany and so on)

    Can we get a general price tag on one? I would like one very much but if it is $200 or more I will have to pass for now. Really cool item and I'm not saying it isn't worth that much but that it would be out of my range right now. Any price point?

     

     

    Definitely less than $200. More like the $140 range. The total costs depends on your location and the payment method you want to use.

    1581 drive in like-new condition with original power supply, original manual, serial cable, and original 1581 utilities disk. As stated earlier, the drive is in primo condition. I will also throw in a 5-pack of new 3 1/2 DS/DD floppy disks to get you rolling. $100

     

    CMD Swiftlink RS232 cartridge: Cart to allow serial connections. Was originally designed to make use of modems, but can be used today to connect to an available serial port on the PC and utilize the PC's network connection to do neat this (like run a telnet BBS). I'll even throw in a 10FT serial cable. $60

     

    Epyx Fast Load Cartridge: Great utility cart that does much more but is widely remembered for..well...loading your disks faster :). $20

    During our recent remodel we had to empty out the attic. I found 2 empty boxes in very good condition - one for the Colecovision system itself and one for module 2 expansion(the steering wheel). Both still had the styrofoam inside that kept them rigid. The family thought I was crazy for not throwing them out. I thought what a waste when I know there is a collector who has the items but not the original boxes, who would love to have them. I'm not trying to make money on them, but would like to make someone happy. I thought I'd put them on the Los Angeles Craigs list because I don't want to have to ship them. However, I also don't want to give them to someone who will turn around and sell the same boxes for money. I'd then feel foolish. Anyone have a suggestion what I should do with these boxes? Am I crazy to think someone wants these? I'm not a collector so I just have no idea what I'm getting into. I'd appreciate suggestions.

     

    That would look nice with my unboxed Coleco, so say your price :D

    As far as I can see the single requierement to place the order is having a Paypal account... do I get the game shipped to Spain for 20 bucks?

    Prehistoric Times will only be available in the US and Canada (and is NTSC) -sorry about that ;)! The preorder site has been updated to reflect this and we apologize for the communication error.

     

    I can understand the NTSC version only - no problem about it, but limiting it to US & CAN when people from overseas have shown interest in it... those are potential customers.

     

    It's only adding more shipping costs in those cases! :)

     

    If you change your mind & accept orders from other countries let me know

    concerning the vogatek supergun.

     

    a seller on ebay in the UK sells them cheap but he says he only ships 30 days after you send him the money. I don't know what that is about but I did read on a forum how a guy who bought one waited that long to receive his....strange.
