How long is this debate gonna last?

I use to play that game in the arcade as a kid one of my favorites. Thanks

It's a shame that there's always a few that can ruin a good thing. I've been watching this thread and have seen how much hard work Curt has put into this project and has made every effort possible to make this as perfect as he can. I for one don't have a problem with delays when I know it's going to be a top notch product once it reaches my doorstep. Thanks Curt!!

Nice job, it look great. I really look forward to seeing it on cart.

Robinson's Requiem now available for the Jaguar CD

I encountered a very similar bug to that. Mitch Mine crashes while just roaming around in the game for no apparent reason. Not sure if it's my Jag, CD Player, or game CD. -
Candle, the boards are looking very nice I wish I would have ordered more than one. Hopefully you'll do another run someday. Has there been a post on how the board gets installed or is that coming later? Maybe I just missed it. Thanks

I just placed an order from http://songbird-productions.com./catalog.shtml and it was set to $49. I guess after Friday it will be changed back to regular price. -
20,000

Still working on it. i wish i could get ahold of Thunderbird or belboz but ive had no responses... I thought I read somewhere that The Jaguar has a network hardware bug, which usually makes the network multiplayer games crash like Doom. Might have better luck networking with Battle Sphere or Air Cars.

Great job Bob. I'll take a red cart with red box.

Thanks for the picture.

Thanks for the info. I tried looking up the chip but couldn't find any photos or location where the chip would be located on the board. Which one on the board is the GTIA? Thanks, Mark

Looking good.

Well, I'm sad to say I broke down and bought a s-video cable off of ebay. Couldn't stand the RF box any longer and never did hear back from a8maestro so I guess I'll chalk that cable up as a loss.
-
I agree, I did this mod on two of my 4 ports and it's a fairly basic mod.
-
I swapped mother boards and moved the video mod over to the working 5200. So I at least I have one working 5200.
-
Xevious 11,540 Not a high score but I'm happy I've now got a working 5200.
-
I found my old 5200 that I had from a long time ago that I put away when I bought this one that was modded with a SVideo upgrade. The joysticks work fine on that board. I even swapped the pokey chips and that did not work same issue. I might just move the video mod over to the working board, both are 4 port systems.
-
Not working even as second player. Can the Pokey chip be replaced?
-
Just noticed today that the upper fire buttons aren't working on my 4 port 5200. I found out when trying to play Xevious and Qix. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks, Mark
-
Bombs are the upper fire buttons. Try them on another game to see which it is, system or other. It looks like it's my 5200 that is the problem. I tried Qix and second buttons do nothing. I'll take it to the 5200 forum and see if anyone has any suggestions.
-
I'm not going to be able to play this round. I've tried three controllers and I'm not able to get the bombs to fire unless there is something wrong with my 5200.
