I'm interested in one.
Hi, I'd be very interested in one of these joysticks also. Just like everyone else, price would be the only issue holding me back.
Same here, I'm interested in one.

By the way, anyone found a LOGO programming language image that works with the a8 core? Atari LOGO is great.
BR, Juan
Juan, take a look and see it the one I added to my google docs page works.

Hey Juan, I just looked at my A8 folder and currently I have 157 files in the root of the "User" folder. No problems yet.
I too wonder what the limit is.

i am the only one who noticed the bugs up and right of the screen ?

If you are using altirra check your overscan setting.

I tried it on the A8 FPGA in PAL mode and the sound and video played. During some of the video playback the screen flashed white. Is this normal?

Put me down for a CIB
thanks

@foft the scan-line setting on the MIST only seems to work if I boot directly to the A8 core. I normally have the Atari ST core as the default so I can switch between cores during boot up.
-
@foft Thanks for the update the audio sounds much better.
-
@starwindz, thanks!! I guess I need to explore all the buttons a little better.
-
I finally downloaded this about a week ago and I have to say great job starwindz.
I'm trying to figure out is there a way to filter by publisher or Home-brew? I would really like to filter by Home-brew games, if possible.
Thanks

It's been a while and I forgot about the game. Just ordered a cart.

@amiman99 I agree the A8 core is by far the best core on the MCC-216. Take a look at my sig for the core compatibility list.
-
Thanks for the instructions.

foft, thanks for the increase in volume.
+ a million things on the todo list!
DE1 break out board?

Take care and thanks for all the updates you have been and are working on!!
-
@foft thanks for the updates!!
Is it me or does the volume need to be increased a bit? Seems a bit low on the MCC-216 and Mist I don't know about the other systems.
foft, could a volume setting be added to the system menu (F12)?Never mind, I just realized as I was typing this probably wouldn't make much sense if we can't save our settings. -
Thanks, I just looked and my tape drive is the Japanese version.
-
Are the belts hard to replace on the 1010? For someone that's never replaced a tape deck or VCR belt before?
-
I got slightly different results with Dimension X on the MCC.
Title Screen Blank on LCD VGA, and screen Rolls on CRT SVideo. I tried both NTSC and PAL. After I press fire to start the game the screen looks fine.
Tried on DE1 RGB and the title screen rolls for PAL and NTSC.
Thanks

foft, could you list a few cart roms that work? I've tried a few 8k carts but they just boot to a ready screen.
Thanks

F12 is a new firmware feature. Basically Till is adding OSD support to 8-bit mode for the other cores.
Since I don't support OSD and need F12 I've built a new firmware for now.
http://www.scrameta.net/autobuild/20140619/mist/firmware.upg
NB: Till will likely release another official one in the next few days to replace this (+ I might have a new core that tells it I want F12). My build will also likely break the other new 8-bit cores if they actually have an OSD.
edit: Till got in touch - likely we'll have an official firmware build tomorrow (or next few days at least)
Till just released firmware_140621_r284.upg for the MIST F12 now works on A8 core.

Juan, your file structure looks fine. I think I had the same problem when using a sd larger than 2 gig. try a non HC card.
-
@jugac64 one thing you'll notice right away is the file selector. This core doesn't use the standard MCC-216 menu system. Adding and accessing programs is as easy as dropping them onto your sd card no crazy ini file to build!

@foft, thanks for the updates over the past several days. I see you've been working hard the Pokey sound.
