Are you the seller? I would bid if I new you ship to CANADA and how much to ship to CANADA?
Yeah I'll ship international to anyone on AA. Just trying to avoid shady people on Ebay.

Sega GenCore is targeted at younger gamers, while Firecore is for the older gamers whom want a more classic look.
Sorry to bump this, but wtf? lol.
-
any idea if these will work on those officially licensed Genesis handhelds? The ones that just came out this year.

Nintendoage.com down. Hacker attack, or April fools mayhem?

I'm not sure is he's exactly trying to sell this. I think he is trying to debate what an item is worth.... After the fact that he agreed upon said items value in a contract. Now that the item is already shipped to him, and he is in possession of it, he is trying to deny said items value, and is refusing to pay for said item, in means of the value of money he agreed it was worth, or in the items he was supposed to ship, in trade, and never did.
All in all though, I think it is all just a ploy, in his childish games, to draw an argument here on AtariAge. He obviously has developed himself more in this forum, so perhaps he thinks someone here will have his back, on ripping someone off in a trade? Or perhaps he will try to make himself out to be a victim again, like he did on NA.
The dude holds items ransom, and makes demands. He changes his accounts names. He says he is going to do one thing, and then never comes through. He is just full of games. I hope the members here look into his string of untrustworthy actions, and ignore him. He is pretty hard to ignore though, when he purposely tries to draw attention tom himself again, and again.
I heard he was banned from NeoGeo, he is also on the verge of being banned from NA. Just not a safe guy to deal with.
Dude, don't try to sugar-coat this...
The SOLE reason you posted this in this thread was to besmirch another member here for something that happened on another website for a deal you had nothing to do with, unless you are Xtincthed.
So let me be as direct as possible here... Were you the person that Chris was dealing with on NintendoAge? If not, then YOU had no right to even get involved in my opinion, you can just troll yourself on to another site.
I'm not trying to troll. I actually had a great deal myself go through with Chris. I also tried to help him out, and encourage him to fix the situation. Chris gave me a really great deal on some stuff, and I held out my respect for him till the end. Till he was just too far gone. Threatening to burn peoples games. Stealing hundreds of dollars worth of items. Then making this post here on AA, making a mockery of the whole situation. His plan is working perfectly I guess.
It is common courtesy, when you know a thief, to point him out to others. I am not trying to trash him. I am trying to make people aware. I hope people would do the same for me. If there is a known thief trying to make a trade with me, I would want someone there warning me first, so I could make my own judgment.
Chris had an awesome reputation with me, now I wouldn't go near a trade with him.
It's just the facts dude. He stole hundreds of dollars in items, and admitted it, and refuses to pay for them.
Those are the facts, no trolling. If he can steal items, then make a thread mocking that he stole something and refuses to pay for it, and then get defended on his actions as a thief.. more power to him I guess.
-
There are 2 sides to every story and seeing as Chris is in VERY good standings on the good traders\forum feeback here on AtariAge I don't see the need for spill over BS from another site's current episode of The Young & The Useless.
Well I made sure to contact the forum editor before posting this. Also Chris brought this drama to AA first, in a post he made http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/158449-12-for-76000-in-1-cart/
".(even less since 2 of the carts in this lot dont even work in the first place?)"
He is complaining about the trade from NA, and made an entire post mocking this.
This thread is not meant to spill anything over, and I hope a mod can delete any posts with drama in them. This is just here so people can read and make their own decisions, on wether or not they want to make a deal with someone who has, as of this posting stolen hundreds of dollars in games.
-
None the less, if you read the NA thread, you can easily see why he would have been banned from another forum. The suggestion that he was banned from Neogeo, came from Matt Nolan, who is a very esteemed member of the gaming community in general.
-
"(even less since 2 of the carts in this lot dont even work in the first place?)"
He has obviously brought over drama from NA.
"Hey, wiener, I've dealt with Chris before, and he is a great guy to deal with. Unless you have solid facts to back those statements up, I suggest you keep your trap shut."
I think if you went and actually read the post that was provided you would see the solid facts. Chris has acknowledged in his own words, that he received items, he was supposed to pay for in the form of a trade.. now he is flat out refusing to pay for the items in anyway, and is threatening to burn the games, holding feedback, and money over someones head. A real class act.
Basically, he stole hundreds of dollars worth of goods, admits he has them, and refuses to pay for them. The facts are there for you to see.

I have bought stuff from Chris and things worked out fine, so take this into your own judgment:

Hopefully he will finally make things right, and get Sjoerd Rutten, either his money or his games.
Please no flaming, or blaming. This is just here for you to read, and make your own judgments.

Can you use this rule of thumb to price another hack cart of the same or lesser quality....
Lets just say you take a cart that is a "Hack" and it has 260 games in 1
Does this make it .000157894737 * 260 = 0.0410526316 for the cart itself.
.05 cents is a bit extreme I will give you that, so Lets round it up to $1.00 maybe even $5.00 or $10.00, just cause I am a fair guy to begin with....(even less since 2 of the carts in this lot dont even work in the first place?)
What is your honest opinion of this general thought?
so your going to try and sell something that isn't even yours... whats that called again?

I think it is between the buyer and seller to agree on the price, pirate carts are cool and all

^^ Is probably trying to be as constructive as possible, and not break down, into the childish games, while being somewhat humorous in a sad sad situation.

Seen a bunch of 400/800 games complete in the box at my local thrift store today. They are $3 each. Are they worth picking up?.. In general is the average atari 400/800 game worth more than $3? Some were old style floppies, and I think there was one on cassette tape.
The only one I can remember is "Wargame Construction Set"

Does CvS work on 360? I was recently disapointed to find out that MvC2 didn't run well on 360. My kids love the 1 - on - 1 fighting games and have a 360 in their room.
AX
Unfortunately, it needs to be played on the original Xbox. If your interested in a good 2d fighter, SF anniversary works on the 360.
AXE if you want pictures on anything, I have the same thread up on nintendoage.com with pictures.

Selling a model 2 Genesis with all the hook ups, a controller, sonic the hedgehog, Columns, and Taz Escape from Mars. $15 plus what ever shipping you choose, at price.
I will take offers on this, and I will consider trades.
Console wise, I need a Genesis Model 1, a Famiclone, a 72 pin adapter, or a clone NES.
If you have a DS lite, Wii, Retro Duo, GBA SP, handheld genesis clone, or FC mobile 2, I will trade all mentioned above, plus a total of 10 games, plus cash to compensate the rest of the deal, depending on your trade.
--=========-=========--
Also have an NES with all the hook ups, a controller, a zapper, one shooting game, and one more game of your choice from a pile of games $40 shipped.
Thanx for looking!

Things that are rare are not always valuable. Just because it can be had on eBay for $45 shipped does not mean that it isn't rare. It just isn't saught-after (probably because it is used for so few games). If they guy put up an asking price of like $100 then I could see you jumping on him, but he just asked for offers. If you were actually interested in the item, instead of just on another one of your holier-than-thou crusades, then you could have just sent him an offer and included the eBay link as a price reference. I don't think he "bit at you for having a little bit of criticism", but rather the attitude with which you did it.
Chris
Whatever. Think what you will. That's my two cents and I'm outta this thread.
Im surprised AA doesnt warn, thread trashers, and delete their posts. What you did was kinda messed up dude. People have the rights to sell things for whatever they want. This dude wasnt even asking a price, he was just taking offers.
Also as mentioned above. There is a major difference between rare, and valuable. If you dont know that difference by now, you have no business criticizing other peoples posts.
Look at a game like Contra. Back in the day, every kid on the block had a copy.. its dirt common. It is one of the upper priced games on the NES though. Demand sets value, not rarity.
Sorry Tremo. Hope you dont get a bad taste in your mouth from one user. Good luck with the sale.
-
Thanx Shawn. Do you have any idea what those games are worth individually? He wants $20 for the box of games. Is it worth it?
-
My neighbor is offering to sell me a box of 2600 games pretty cheap. I have no idea if any these are worth anything, as I mainly collect NES games. Ill make a list of the games below, and it would be cool it someone could help me out, and let me know if any of these games are worth $5 or more. If there are any games worth more than $5, please let me know what game, and how much it goes for. Im interested in reselling these, so ill also be taking offers, as soon as I get an idea of prices. Im pretty easy to work with. Thanx in advance for the help!

Title says it all, both games come with manuals and cases.

It is also important to note, that a games rarity does not gauge its value. A games value is determined by its demand. A game is rare when it is not readily available, usually do to minimal production. There are rare games that are hardly worth anything. There are also dirt commons, such as Marvel vs Capcom 2 (that spans many systems) and Contra, that can be worth upwards of $50.
