  1. Hello internet friends! I am now NEWLY PLEASANT in order to be more paletable in this place of discussion! Though I am somewhat discomforted by the constant smile on my face, it is for the best! Let us all be friends, and get along well. I admire all webcomic authors, for they want only to bring us joy and laughter, not to push inferior branded merchandise onto the public! OW, UMM, sorry, I mean it is a good thing to make people laugh.

  2. IT IS NOW AGAINST THE RULES TO BE CRITICAL IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM HERE. THIS IS A SECONDHAND WARNING.

You may not express your dissatisfaction with horrific language skills. Some people's primary language may not in fact be English. One must take caution not to offend other people's pride on the internet, because this is serious business. "LOL INTERNET" does not apply here.

To properly clean your Nintendo® game system and game paks, please purchase an official Nintendo® cleaning kit.

If this not possible, it is ill advised to clean your game paks and control decks with alcohol, benzene, or other solvents. Doing so will void your warranty.

It's a pain in the uh...... POSTERIOR to clean the contacts inside a system. It's not advisable to use a cotton swap soaked with rubbing alcohol, because the cotton could snag on the pins and contribute to clogging the slot. I've seen many a system with pet hair CRAMMED into the connector. If you wish to risk it, it should have a decent rate of success. I'd use stiff cardboard or some other semirigid abrasive and pourous material. Dab it with alcohol on both sides, and um.... insert and remove it from the cartridge slot repeatedly. Or you could use an old tooth brush, I don't know. I can't be sure everybody on the internet has ever used a OW MY HEAD, I'LL BE GOOD.

  3. Question to all you PS2'ers who seem to have had bad experiences with them breaking...is there something to look for?  Or,  look OUT for?  I'm thinking of picking up a PS2 again,  but dont want one that is prone to failure.  I know with the xbox,  all you have to do is eject the disc tray to know if you have the P.O.S.  Thompson drive,  and to steer the hell clear.  Is there such a telltale sign with the PS2 ?
Model 30001 is the worst, period. It's not even the oldest model, but fails more frequently than even the original iteration. The model number is written on the back, easy to see. Easy Reader says this PS2 is easy to read. You'll have to get hooked up with the Electric Company to turn it on, turn up the power.

    Pardon me, I've gone insane.

50001 may be fine, but don't get anything older than that. I'd still wait for PSTwo.

FFXI does have a monthly fee. No problem though, because you'll be SICK OF IT in less than two months.

  4. Id like to do some customizing stuff to my Dreamcast and maybe buy more since they are only 14 bucks here. Maybe a blue and white sonic themed. This is gonna sound stupid but is the XBox an easy system to mod and customize?
Yes. You can do the most with it, too, considering it's more like a PC than a game system, really.

  5. Hmm...

    Goodwill, Andover, Ohio

Genesis 2 system, 3 button controller, no power or RF: $3

    Qix (5200): $1

Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling: The Four Legged Pickpocket: $2

SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS: $2

    WOO.

They also had Joust, Centipede, Pac Man, Berzerk, Pole Position, Jungle King, and Space Invaders for 5200 there, all a buck each... I was on a limited budget. I had to leave behind a VCR, a set of WW2 books published in the sixties, and a Darkwing Duck tape. ;_;[/b]

  6. My not? What about it? In fact, I don't think I am in posession of a "not", despite the facts that I am so negative and my shoelaces are knotted.

On topic, you know I'm right about all three systems. I believe when combined, my 3 longest posts in the thread form COMPUTRON, gestalt robot of inimaginable logic.
