  1. lol 😀 I have that one , indeed! 😀 ...humm in fact no... the title screen of mine has not the same font...:) But it is not that one. ... the prototype found has been done long time before that one!
  2. In July? no , it is not a April Fools and not a July Fool either. It is not a Nice Idea game. It is not Dino Eggs The game is fully playable. however not completed ... but will say more about that soon. It is a game based on a famous arcade game , but it is not a direct port of that game , it is just inspired from, i would say . However the name is very close to the arcade game it is inspired from. And the game exists on one another plateform. As far i know only one.
  3. Found a prototype of a never released game! ... More to come in the coming weeks, stay tuned...
  4. I know what is the game now. It is a game i would have buy if it was not in the club. It is a game i would have done myself but i love so much that game that i prefer somebody else does it! To Play it! That 's THE GAME.
  5. Humm... i think it is not the game i thought indeed, i just double check and J.F said in this thread that an NES Port exists. The game i was thinking about don't have NES port as far i know.:(
  6. I think i have found what is the game! ... A C64 and an Atari XL port exists also. am i correct?
  7. the SGM add nothing to the colecovision except more RAM and a new sound chip. For smooth scrolling it is just porgramming tricks. However having more RAM can ease the programming of these tricks.
  8. It uses Mode 2 , 256x192 , but It is possible the tile patterns are designed in a way it looks like 128x192 to ease the horizontal scrolling. I did not run Thexter recently but i guess it scroll horizontally per step of 4 pixels each time? if not, it could be it was planed at the beginning but not implemented. that would explain the 128x192 aspect.
  9. SPO256 are very hard to find in good condition . And often the old stocks you find are SPO256-012 which for Intellivision and they don't have all the allophone. You can only manage them to say "Mattel intellivision presents" and numbers....more or less. If you can reproduce them , it would be very great indeed. you said you tried to reproduce it already and it does not work? Could it be due to missing Allophones data? Concerning the SD Card, yes , would be great also , if we can read file from a colecovision program and load them in Kitbox Ram.
  10. Something crazy , i would love . Is the possibility to connect a CD ROM player to the coleco and control it. And of course the Speech Synth. But one from the 80's. Like the SPO256.
  11. ok Mystery Solved, in fact the floppy was a PC/MS DOS floppy lost between the Apple 2 ones. i would love it was Pole Position for Apple 2.
  12. i have also never seen a Burning Rubber or a Bmp'n Jump arcade cabinet from 80's with a steering wheel. But the Colecovision 's Driving module appear on the box of the cartridge .
  13. with all these beers and beer glasses in this thread , if it didn't not have been already released i would have say the secret game is Tapper!
  14. no, it is copy unfortunately . But i will try next week , i'm not so curious to know what there is on that disk.
  15. I didn't read this thread entirely. but i was googling about Pole Position on Apple 2 and google pointed me to that thread . I was googling for Pole Position on Apple 2 because this afternoon, i have dig in my old computer collection . And i found a box where there were an Apple IIc and few boxes of floppy disk. I have decided to plug the machine to see if it still worked and it does. ( i have even a couple of Paddle Controller for Apple 2 , i did not know it existed ) But in the bunch of floppy disks i have , i'm sure to have seen one labelled Pole Position. I did not have the time to test that particular floppy today. But it let me perplex because i was not aware that pole position has been done on Apple 2. So tonight i was searching some video or screenshot. And i found this thread. So now i'm very very curious to try the floppy disk i found, i will do next week. I hope it will still work and that i will be apple to start the game , i really never used an apple 2 before... if the disk boot alone like the conan or lode runner i tested this afternoon it is ok... but if i have to start with a command line, i guess i will have to read all the manuals i have
  16. you can do that, using the put_frame function.
  17. What happened with the coleco version of Sydney Hunter?
  18. Is there screenshot somewhere of Berenstain Bears on colecovision? Interesting coleco published this thing first on Atari VCS before Colecovision.
  19. Very interesting. Do we have some technical information on that thing?... i guess there are some RAM in the module plugged in the expension where the Tape content is loaded. Do we know how much was planned?
  20. Wow!... what is it? It is a tape reader for the colecovision?... something like the supercharger on Atari VCS?

    Skies of Arcadia

i have loved that game. I'm not a RPG Fan as well , i think it is the only RPG i have completed!. But did not completed it with 100% , i think it was around 70% , so there is lot of place i did not see. What i don't like too much is this kind of game are boss Battle... I like the stories , exploring .... but battle are boring, IMHO.
  22. thanks for your answer. So you can buy products and resell them "as is". In that case , if no special agreement , the warranty is honored by the product maker . But assuming , for instance i buy few phoenix to resell, and if i manage to resell them not before one year (let say the Phoenix has one year warranty) , my buyer will have no more warranty? Is what you mean by ?:
  23. It is what i was just thinking! In the U.S , can we buy some IPhone from Apple and resell them with your own brand without a legal agreement or something like that?
