    I agree. Looking forward to your review of the second of the two partially for that reason. Curious what your opinion is of playing two very similar games but in two totally different environments. I still haven't gotten Aquanaut's so i might just wait for your review to see if it's worth it. Another game to consider is that Demon's Souls. I'm seriously looking into getting a copy of that game.

     

    Aquanaut's *should* be next on the list to review. I need to start tonight..which ever I choose to do. So you shouldn't have to wait long to purchase the game if it's any good.

    I think you should do Afrika also.

    Most people wont even know about that game otherwise beings as it's not going to be released in the US.

    It might get them interested enough to import it.

    Make sure to mention to pick up the Asian versions. (Unless they speak Japanese)

    The next review should be much better. I've learned a lot the mic since then, and it should be in the correct aspect ratio now :).

    I've noticed people selling large lots here as well recenty. I just hope they know what they're doing as, while sometimes in the moment it sounds like a good idea, you usually regret selling large amounts of your collection later on down the road.

     

     

    In fact, I think every system, other than a few gameboys, I've regretted selling at some point of time.

     

    There are some games I've bought more than 2-3 times because when I realize that I made a mistake selling a system, I have to rebuy the games I had already owned.

     

     

    Anywho, best of luck to the guys who need money, moving, or who are marrying game hating wives ;)

    I'd be interested in any PS, PS2, and DC titles that would NOT be rpgs haha ;). All depends on price and condition. If you have the time, I'm sure we'd all love to see a list of the games you'd want to part with.

     

    Also, cheap, non-rare 2600 games are always fun to play through :)

    I'm interested in obtaining a copy of DDR and a Dance Mat for my Dreamcast... most preferably in great condition (well, duh..)!

     

    Lately, I don't buy a lot of games... so I have no idea what the value for something like this is. If you have one you are willing to part with, please let me know what kind of cashola you need and maybe we can work out a deal. (I use Paypal) :)

    I just got my copies of Afrika and Aquanaut's Holiday. You guys can expect reviews for those soon. Some games that I've added to my "to-do list" include Vib-Ribbon, Internal Section, Mojib Ribbon, Yib-Ripple (yes, figured I'd do the whole series haha), and IQ Final. Don't worry, I won't be just doing playstation reviews, but I figured since the three playstations are hooked into the computer, I might as well do some reviews on those first :).

     

    If anyone (like Moycon did for Aquanaut's) has any requests, please let me know here.

    That was creepy adept. It took me a moment to figure out what i was working through. I'm about half way through the game i'm really enjoying it.

     

    I'm glad you guys took my recommendation! Crazy good game. Sad thing is, it will probably sell a few hundred copies :roll: , go figure.

     

    But hey! I bet Mario Party 2049 will sell a billion copies!

    I liked it, though if you're going to get a sequel of something, get Mario Kart first (really reminded me in many ways of the N64 version.. which I loved).

     

    Don't get me wrong, it's a GREAT game, but something about it felt a little shallow. I'd still get it. No Wii collection is complete without it..especially if you find it cheap.

    With the way this generation is going, I think it'll be interesting to see how Microsoft and Sony respond for the 8th generation...will they continue to focus on technical mastery, or will they bring a focus back to the games like Nintendo has been trying to do this time?

     

    I'm not shocked by how poorly the 360 is doing in Japan either...

    Actually, I'd kinda like to see a generation do what the snes, n64 and even GC had in mind. IE: expanding the system to be used for the next generation. No one has really ever done this (beyond the ill-conceived 32x/cd thing) and I'd like to see a system go a bit further than the normal 4-5 years by adding on to it in some way.

     

    Then we could have two Wiis taped together next time ;).

    The Japanese always buy Japanese products first which is quite understandable. I hope MS and Sony don't try following Nintendo's lead. I don't need a bunch of dumbed down games that use a gimmick controller. I haven't had any problem with the game play in any game I've bought for either the 360 or PS3.

     

    Considering how badly the PS3 was doing in it's home turf though, I'd say that they don't always buy their own products first. The 360 has now, on many occasions, surpased ps3 sales there. For the PS3 to surpase not only 360 sales but also wii sales, that's a big deal for the system that's been in last place consistantly for the last year or so.

    As an added note, it seems the ps2 has had it's time in the spotlight. It's now last. It is interesting to see that the 360 didn't beat Wii sales like the PS3 did this time, even though according to the Famitsu, RE5 sold about equal for each of the two HD platforms.

    I don't keep up to date with console news anymore. I know that a couple of years back it was supposedly in 3rd place and not really doing well at all.

     

    I'm just wondering if it is doing any better now? Is Sony making a profit?

     

     

    Yes, it's doing much better. No it's not #1 or anything, but their sales (especially in Japan) have been much healthier. In fact, the ps3 was almost at Wii sales last time I checked the Japanese sales charts.

     

    If it does become the top system, it will do so at the end of it's life span. However, at the very least, it seems they're on the right track. Exclusives and no commercials with girls on toilets next to crying babies seems to equal profit! :P

    I just gave ya a 5. Good review! Definitely need to speak up a bit but otherwise, great job. It's nice to see more people on YouTube who actually review a game objectively and don't just scream and swear the whole time. :cool:

    I just 5-starred you, nice review. But yeah, speak up a bit more. Headsets are cheap, better than a hangar.

     

    Thanks guys. I need to just adjust the volume I think. The headset is actually a really expensive plantronics brand one, so I should be fine in that respect :).

     

    And yes, I hate kids lol.
