  1. I saw a pic of the trio with Famicom and super fami carts in it without adapters. Are you sure you need that sold out adapter? SMS doesn't matter too much to me. I have a SMS
  2. That makes sense to not have the track that's not visible unrendered. Definitely makes sense how they made some very nice graphics for the track.
  3. Weird. Its pretty widely believed its polygonal in the 3do forums. Even says as much in the back of the box. Again, if it was fmv the frame rate would stutter when the car slowed down as its just a recorded video in slow mo
  4. Really want a retro trio now. Just got a master system and I could care less about gameboy support. So I don't really see the advantage of the retron. HDMI is great but not if it won't work. Hey. Can anyone tell me if the trio can play games like starfox and super Mario RPG?
  5. Battlesport is great with one player. I don't have another controller either. Yeah if you're used to 3do graphics its plain as day its polygonal (outside the cars of course). Plus unlike the fmv racers on the system the framerate doesn't slow down (because its a video). I just have the first shockwave which comes on on CD.
  6. You need to get Road Rash, Street Fighter 2, and samurai shodown for sure. You'll love gex in the 3do BTW. The fz-1 models are good. Just make sure the CD tray works as they go bad like the model 1 neo Geo CD systems. I'd recommend battle sport if you liked the Lucas arts 2600 game that's nearly identical in gameplay. Shockwave is pretty fun as well. Star control 2 is a fantastic game. And crash n burn is a REALLY fun non-fmv polygonal racer ala road rash. There are some other games I'd get after you get the really good ones. Like tripd, soccer kid and sailor moon s.
  7. New items, and price reductions. Practically giving some of this stuff away . Offers are welcome.
  8. Remember, the GC component cord isn't like any other. There's a chip in the cord that makes it work. Otherwise the system can't produce the signal on its own. It would be awesome to hack it and produce such a signal, but I don't think it'll be that easy.
  9. Thanks guys. Unlike Indiana Jones this game is actually very good. Sorry, I know everyone loves that game but I thought it was clunky. Stunt racer 64 is a hoot. It's simple, but the controls are a lot of fun. Doing drifts and performing flips is insanely gratifying. The backgrounds are good too. I will say though that crash n burn on the 3do might be even better. The fully textured polygonal backgrounds are stunning and honestly put stunt racer to shame graphically. Why some people still think its a fmv racer is beyond me. The game clearly isn't or the frames would get worse when slowing down as the movie was going slower. That and you can tell if youre used to 3do graphics what polygons look like verses something prerendered, and you can move side to side on the track which changes the perspective instead of the background staying the same no matter where you drive on the road. Heck it even says this on the back of the box. Haha. Any who. Having a great time.
  10. That's a good idea actually. I wonder if those things are affordable. I'll have to look that up
  11. I've seen those. Although I always thought they were third party. Either way , at five a case I'd be out 250 dollars. There's got to be a cheaper way. Thanks though! Keep the ideas coming!
  12. I've wanted this game since I was a kid reading my Nintendo Power magazines religiously. At the tail end of the n64s life this game came out. I didn't have enough money at the time, and by the time I did, not only did I realize it was only at Blockbuster video (very much like Indiana Jones), but due to the n64s sudden death as soon as the word "GameCube" was uttered, all gone. That game is Stunt Racer 64. Until today I've NEVER seen a copy in the wild. Most auctions got for over fifty bucks even if the kabek has been torn off completely from the blockbuster label. I found mine today in a new store I ventured in. I got it for 20 bucks. Also got rampage and captain silver for the master system for five each, crash n burn for 3do for eleven, and star soldier on the n64 for four dollars. But by far this was the star of the pick up. I've never resorted to auctions on this game. I vowed to find it on my own. After all this time I got it. Can't explain how excited and happy I am. Pics up later.
  13. I love the N64. Its my favorite Nintendo system. I remember when it came out and was floored when I saw it. But as much as I love it I hate its carts. N64 isn't alone. Several systems including the Sega Master System and Jaguar didn't have top labels either. I REFUSE to write on the tops of my carts. Some gaming shops did this and I refused to shop there no matter what they had. But I leaves the question. How do I display/store these? I'm trying to figure out a way to see the label while having them stored in a smallish space but I'm not doing well. I have nearly fifty n64 games. And its hard having them in a bin, thumbing through them all trying to find the right game. Any suggestions?
  14. Tons of things sold, thanks again! Prices for remaining items lowered!
  15. Xbox bundle and assorted games added. Pictures added for Mac Pro tower. Offers welcome
  16. Added Mac Pro tower. More gaming consoles to come!
  17. That's awesome! Glad it worked . Enjoy your DK JR machine .
  18. Not a deal breaker, but that does kinda suck. I'd rather use a Game Genie than having to import cheats via SD card from their site.
