  1. UPC Database has it listed as a Coupon....looks like it will work on POS systems. Of course your receipt already proves that :D

What does POS stand for? Piece of shit? I will try this tomorrow. Do you just print it off on standard copy paper STICH666?

LOL that's what I thought at first as well. It stands for Point Of Service. Yes so long as you have a good quality printer, it should work.

  2. I require more proof first. Not that I don't trust you STICH I just don't want to take it in and have them not accept it!

There's a good chance they will not accept it. But it is worth a shot. I mean what's the worst they can possibly do? Say no?

  3. What disturbs me about the headline is how it leads you to believe the system itself is worth big bucks. Only reading into the article, do you realize it was the cartridge they were after. With so much misinformation, poor grammar and general misuse of the english language, hard to believe a lot of these media types made it through college.

yeah, i wonder how many people will try to sell thier nes for 13,000$...

  4. This is ridiculous too..

Ebay NES game: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2705312520931?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=270531252093&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

What is "ridiculous" about an ebay seller with a 100 percent rating placing a game for sale with a 99 cent starting price and no reserve, then over 33 people going online and bidding it up to a high price? Looks like the free market at work.

Maybe video game collecting has evolved past the days of finding stuff at flea markets and Goodwill stores. It happens with a lot of hobbies. You either evolve with the market, adjust you expectations and goals, or find another hobby.

I have been reading more and more threads complaining about prices and availability of games and systems. Did you think video game collecting would stay a flea market/garage sale type of activity forever? Face it, the bargins will always be getting harder and harder to find, and as much as we would like it, members of AtariAge do not set the value of video games, the free market does.

And that guy with the couple hundred Odysseys.

  5. Got a mint condition Atari XE with the Light Gun, official controller, keyboard and a copy of Barnyard Blaster for a trade of a Saturn and 3 controllers. The Saturn only cost me $25 so it was a good deal overall. I also hit up the local thrift shop and found yet another gaming item buried in the board games. A Digital Diamond handheld baseball game.

Thats a great feeling isn't it? Finding something valuable you know you can flip for something you want. I've done that a few times. It's great! :D

Yeah it feels great! This might just be what gets me into classic computers.
