  1. Very impressive! The only thing is there seems to be a slight collision issue in the second video but seeing as you are the master at coding for the CV, that shouldn't be a problem.
  2. Ken all the way!!! I still have this for the PC Engine... I think I might pick it up. How well does it work with only 2 buttons.
  3. Ask the guys at ASSEmblergames.com They're always fast with technical stuff.
  4. if sony actually used all the properties/studios they've bought up, ps3 would be in decent shape. *l* They have a ton, must be a money thing. damnit sony, where's my colony wars? And my Twisted Metal!!!!
  5. Is this a way of protecting yourself from the "I dunno, it may or may not work, I don't have anything to test it with" sellers? Exactly. I don't want to waste money on a console that doesn't work unless I'm buying it with the intention to fix it. Good point. I'm often tempted by the console-only sales, but I've never pulled the trigger. I think I'll take your advice and avoid those from now on. I just went and bought this yesterday. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=380108258895. Everything It uses is generic with the exception of the controller so I just went for it. Works flawlessly.
  6. I agree with all except 6. I collect consoles not the games. If there are games on a said console that interest me then I will buy them. If not, oh well. I'll still own the console as a collector's item. For example, GameGear. I bought one because it's a cool thing to own, not because I would play it.
  7. LOL that thing is the main culprit of lost I/O port covers.....followed close second by curious 5 year olds.
  8. HAHAHAHAH i DON'T KNOW A SINGLE PERSON THAT HASN'T DONE THAT.
  9. Got pics of the guns buddy? no,but ill see if i can take some for you guys. When i say "gun" i mean joystick. They are kinda like this one only smaller http://www.vrealities.com/su2000.html Wow I played the VR at E3 93 I believe. Don't remember much as I was 3 years old but what i do remember was it was an exposed cart about 6 inches tall and it had gameplay similar to Space Harrier except it was free-roaming. It was behind closed doors but my friend and his dad got me in because he worked with Sega or with one of the game developers. I forget which one.
  10. Probably because they never made them. It is compatible with the SNES mouse if you prefer that option. Wow thanks.
  11. No not the NES version. The SNES version. I can't seem to find paddle controllers for it.
  12. Are there dial controllers for the game? It just doesn't feel right without them.
  13. Make sure the switch on the video cable isn't set to HDTV. I know it sounds stupid but it eventually gets all of us.
  14. Yes it's a rip off. Its worth $100 tops. It's apparent he's a near 70 year old douche. a Heavy 6'er for $350? A joystck for $45? Shit i got both at a garage sale for $25.
  15. Well they're rather rare. They don't even have one in any of the stores in Akihabara.
  16. What, you mean you gotta use your hands? That's like a baby's toy! Griff: HEY GRAMPS!!! I told you 2 coats of wax on my car, not just 1!!! Great movie BTTF II Anthony.... It's funny but you sound so much like Anthony Cumia.
  17. Ah I see. Oh well. Looks like I have to find a controller.
  18. SNES-CD (codename PSX) That sold on ebay awhile ago. I think it was upwards of $1000. I sold mine (the one in the picture) on chasethechuckwagon.com for $800.00. Got a bunch of PS3 prototype controllers stashed away for the future. Where do you get your stuff?
  19. Would a DB9 Female to MINI DIN 8-pin Male work?
  20. Sounds a little high pitched. Is this because of the limited sound hardware? Also sign me up for a copy. Actually I am aware that sound is around 20% above the correct pitch. That's something I need to fix. I also need to come with some way to simulate the pulsing red Arkanoid ship. But so far so good, I am satisfied with the results... For the glowing, just take the blue into photoshop and increase the red on a shade of blue until you like the result then try to find the closest match with the Colecovision's palette.
