One man's trash still belongs to that man, until it hits the garbage truck. That is 100% false. One it hits the curb, you forfit your right to it. Unless your garbage is in a private doorway (like in some apartment complexes), anyone can walk to the curb and take it legally. The sidewalk is public property, which is why by law you must shovel snow on the sidewalk in front of your house.
Unrealated but ya know what also bothers me? Jerkoff tough-guy wannabees that think only they can park in front of their house. BS! The city owns the property in front of your house. This is a major pet peeve of mine. Ok, rant complete.

I agree with you on that: curbs and public dumpsters are not private property. I have issues with private driveways and garages, though...
I one parked in fron of a guy's house, not blocking the driveway or anything. The next morning there was a note on my winshield asking me not to park there again, as it was his spot. I would love to have kept parking there and dared him to call the police about it, but at the time I had a Grand National (collecter's car, fastest car of the 80's, uber cool), and I didn't want to risk him doing anything to it.
Just a basic Regal or the GNX?

It was some 15 year old. The NES is the perfect hiding place. That's where I used to put all my report cards. I also used to hide them in my 2600.I never could figure out what the point of hiding your report card is. Either you show it to your parents, or you throw it away and hope they forget you were supposed to get one that day. If you don't want them to see it, why keep it?
My parents checked everywhere. Especially the garbage.

I dated a girl once that smelled like tuna fish. I can tell ya that only lasted 4 days.Did you tell her to close her legs?

I found an ounce of weed in an NES I bought off craigslist. I made a pretty penny at school the next day. Well when it comes to dirty, the worst i've see was a Dreamcast that looked like it was involved in some sort of orgy. Also has anybody ever had a wasp's nest in a console before. My cousin had one in his heavy sixer.Dunno how anyone could forget an oh-zee inside a nintendo, that is unless they where big hitters with tons of dope and where too fried\had more dope than they could keep track of. But if that was the case I doubt they would be selling an NES on CL

I like taking old dirty disqusting games and consoles that are rejected by others and clean and make them look new again with TLC.Its a good thing we as collectors who appreciate classic gaming take care of whats left or else all the gaming stuff would of ended up destroyed in the garbage,a huge shame for the stuff that didnt get rescued IMO.Couldn't have said it better myself.

I bought a Sega Master System on Ebay a while back and opened it up to clean it up some. There was a mummified roach inside. Blech!I've also got a front loader NES that my cat peed on. I should get rid of it because it isn't working anymore, but... maybe Ebah... muwahaha!
What exactly is wrong with it?

Well I collect mainly because I like to restore things and watch old pieces of technology at work. I don't collect things such as baseball cards simply because they don't do anything. This is the reason why if I every run into money, I will start collecting and restoring cars. I also want to have them so one day when i have kids, they will see games for what they are and hopefully won't turn into the types of kids who call themselves gamers yet all they play is COD and Madden. I also collect for the sake of accomplishment. I have every main console and handheld released by Sega in the US with the exception of the oddities like the Laseractive systems and variations of consoles like the Genesis models 1,2,3 and CDX. That would just be redundant.

I'm just gonna go buy a broken unit on ebay and replace the shell.
-
Yeah that's what I was afraid of. Oh well. Now the rest of the console will look great.
-
I'm sorry but I want to know since there is an auction for a mint 2600 shell.

There ya go.

It's alright. Just ignore this topic like everyone else.

Really need an answer guys.

Go on eBay and get SNK Arcade Classics for the PS2 BRAND NEW for like $10-15 shipped.
It has like 10-15 good Neo Geo games on it.I'm a console collector. It's either the console or nothing.
-
Either would be fine. I prefer the AES but I hear the games could run even more than the console. I mean incomplete would be great. I have no problem getting controllers and cables but the console itself is elusive.

Hi all,Hoping someone here can help. Going to Rome next month, would like to take my PSP for the flight. The charger (my camera charger too) says its rated at 110-220 Volts input. I bought a Europlug adapter so that my "plug" will fit into european outlets. I am "assuming" that all I had to do is make it physically fit into the wall and the charger figures out whether its 110 or 220. Theres no switch like on some electronics.
Is this true or am I going to blow something up? What I bought is NOT a converter (220to110V), just a plug adapter that will make my US 2 prong fit an Italian 2 prong.
Advice good, personal experiece even better. Actual answer, priceless.
Thanks in advance,
CN
No it will be fine. If not you could always sue for false advertising. The worst that could happen is that it will only blow the charger up and leave the PSP untouched.

I can't find one for less than $150. Can somebody who has one make me a deal?
-
Hey is there any way to make a new metallic Atari logo for the front of the console. Mine rusted and I had to remove it.
-
The NES is possibly the easiest console to fix. Lemme guess. It wouldn't read games. It would only flash white on the screen and the red led would blink.

You guys do know the Megadrive is the Genesis. But anyway you need..
NES
N64
Saturn
ColecoVision
PS2 (you'd be insane not to own one)
