  1. It's been a few years since I last purchased games for my Atari collection, and I have found some gaping holes (and some just plain need to be replaced from lending or losing in moves). Most of these games are pretty common. The problem is, to get them in a single lot isn't possible without buying a million other games that I already have multiple copies of. So, if you have any or all of these to sell, let me know. Boxes and manuals are cool, but I intend to play them. I'd rather save the pennies and just take the loose carts. Here goes: Coconuts Fast Food Klax Lost Luggage Miniature Golf Pengo Shark Attack Let met know what you have and how much you want!
  2. WORKSHEET: Atari 2600 Heavy 6 Switch List Worksheet: NTSC/PAL/Sears/Special: NTSC Serial # (Ex: #54035V or #007649): 14498H MFG Location (Sunnyvale, Taiwan): Atari, INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (Owner/AA Member), (Location= City, State, Country): tisaperfectdayelise, La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States A/B Channel Slot (Yes/No): No A/B Channel Switch (Yes/No): No Functional (Yes/No): Yes Notes: TBD So, I cruised eBay looking for a set of paddles to give to my sister as well as a couple of spare joysticks to have around. Knowing what can go unnoticed on eBay due to mislabeling, I just searched 'Atari' and found this auction: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1709777932267 . For $80 shipped ($50 +$30shipping), I got a lot more than what was advertised. 5 sealed games were advertised, but 10 sealed games were actually shipped. Air-Sea Battle, Surround, and Indy 500 were shown in the picture, but perfect gatefold boxes and original numbered carts were included, all with their manuals and copies of the first catalog. The eight games shown in the caddy ended up shipping with their original manuals. The joysticks are interesting. From the pictures, I wondered if they'd be CX-10s. They aren't... They have plugs that say 'AMP,' look and feel like the CX-40s, but are much more responsive. My guess is that they're just really good after-market sticks (I'm actually preferring them to any traditional CX-40 I've used). The innards look identical to the revision 1 CX-40 board, though. They are stamped "Made in Mexico." The two sets of paddles and set of driving controllers are the original iterations with the Atari logo (no surprise there, as they were shown in the pictures). I snapped a shot of the inside of the console. It looks to have been made in the 34th week of 1977...I think..sometimes, I have hard time following how to date these. The console had never been opened, and I've never seen a heavy sixer in such nice condition (in person). It may not have been the BEST bargain around, but I am very pleased with the lot! So, am I supposed to update the spreadsheet and attach it to this post? I'm not entirely certain.
  3. So, is there still a Heavy Sixer OFFICIAL LIST around? The one I knew of seems to have been replaced, but neither have been touched in awhile.

  4. Kool-Aid Man (2600) Dodge 'Em (2600) Demon Attack (2600)
  5. An offer has been accepted. I'll update, if anything falls through. Once it goes through, I'll change the original post.
  6. I have received a few inquiries about the software. Most of the titles are listed below. As of yet, I'm not keen on separating them from the system. I also have a beige IIe with matching 5 1/4" Unidisks that I'd throw in for free with a decent offer. Those will actually do better justice to the games that require more memory. Typing Tutor Pac Man (CIB) Gremlins (CIB) Dig Dug (CIB) Galaxian (CIB) Centipede (CIB) Moon Patrol (CIB) Robotron 2040 (CIB) Jungle Hunt (CIB) Donkey Kong (CIB) Junior Typer Kung-Fu Master Wheel of Fortune- Third Addition California Games Marble Madness Commando Where In Time is Camen Sandiego? Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego? Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? Disk Utilities (?....an Apple branded Disk) Tax Preparer Professional Black Jack Bank Street Writer Plus Talking Reader Rabbit Writer Rabbit Writing and Publishing Center The following Disks are also on 5.25" floppies, but are copies or shareware: Locksmith 6.0 BC Quest for Tires Label Maker AppleWorks Boot AppleWorks Data Multiplan System Disk SideWays Crazy Climber Snack Attack Taxman There are a few more that are unlabeled. I know that one of them is Oregon Trail. I'm not sure about the others.
  7. I just performed my first soldering job on a console. My first run 2600 lives!

  8. Pheonix (2600) Jr. Pac-Man (2600) Dragonfire (2600)
  9. Thank you for the feedback! That gives me a good idea of what to accept as far as offers. Now, we'll just have to see if there's a market
  10. I am completely disturbed by this listing. I have that same feeling after seeing this that I do watching documentaries that show addicts shooting up. Scariest part? Austin, MN is only a short drive from me. I kind of want to check this out, just to get the scoop on how a person ends up with a bus full of discarded Apple equipment from twenty years ago....
  11. Ian had some good questions that I thought I'd address: Everything that I have to sell with this particular machine is included in the pictures. There is a cardboard box within the big box that at least three, spiral bound books and other paperwork. I know that those books are often sought after...I think...maybe not...I don't really know... The printer includes the interface card. As for software, I have a bunch of Atarisoft titles (Ms. Pacman, Moon Patrol, Donkey Kong, and many more) that come with their original orange boxes and warranty cards. There are other games including Marble Madness, Commando, and many more. There is also a bunch of educational and business software. If I weren't at work for the night, I'd give you a more detailed list. Something to note about the software, though: Many of the games require at least 128K ram. The II+ that I have was shipped with the max at the time, which I believe was only 48K. On the bottom of the CPU, there is a sticker with three different RAM amounts. On this sticker, the highest amount is marked (in case you're familiar with how it's labeled). Because of the low ram (and because I lost interest really quickly in the old Apple stuff), I used a IIe to display and play those game titles, while the II+ sat in storage.
  12. Posting all of the details of this bundle will take quite a long time, so I wanted to see if there was any interest out there first. I have no clue as to what this stuff is worth. I know what I paid a few years ago, but it's really hard to guage, as people aren't selling these on CL in my area, and eBay...well...eBay isn't a consistent indicator. I am giong to be combining households, and I am no longer going to able to keep all of the fruits of my compulsive collecting from over the years. Between this and the (rather large) 2600 collection, I opted to keep the Atari stuff (as these items have sat in storage since I bought them). I also have a complete Apple IIe system to sell, but I want to get this one out of the way first. I'm going to go ahead and post some pictures copied from a Craigslist Ad that I had posted months ago, but never really got serious bites on. I'll keep watching this post. If there is interest, I will edit this post to list every spec and every detail that I can (including higher resolution photos). As an FYI, though, everything is in perfect working order. I went through and tested all of it this week.

  14. Be sure to read the post for clarification on what the files actually are. That's what user42 was referring to....it was in his signature

  16. I'd like a 4 switch in great condition.... What have you got? (I'd take a Vader or Woody at this point)

  18. has never seen so many consecutive status messages that contain both the word 'haters' and the phrase 'suck it.' It's as though Kathy Griffin has hijacked all of my friends' accounts to comment on something called a Madge...

Yeah, it was Facebook. Sometimes, I forget that these two are linked. Sorry! :-)

  19. was nervous about attending a read-through this evening. He hasn't done a play play in nearly ten years. This should be fun :-)

  20. is seeing his undergrad graduation yearbook for the first time. Apparently, he wasn't much of a joiner in 2006....

  21. I hope that your day is better than yesterday!
