I didn't think you were allowed to reveal the games from the experience club?

Need guidance from community. Sold Atari 2600 on Ebay, and...
kennybrooks replied to classicgamesnut's topic in Atari 2600
You should just go ahead and accept the return. Ebay has already counted it 'against' you, no matter how you resolve the issue. Ebay sides with the buyer with everything now, it does you no good to talk to customer service, you may find one rep that will agree with you, but agreeing with you and actually telling you what the correct options you have are two different things. Unfortunately, ebay has become a buyers paradise, able to return anything without any recourse and abuse the system. If you can find anywhere else to sell, I would greatly suggest that. Once a buyer does open any return case, the seller's items are shown in the very ending of any best match search (which most buyers still use). Check any items you are selling logged in as yourself, they will show near the top most likely, log out and try the same search and see your items near the end of the search. Ebay is criminal really, what used to be a fair market has turned into a market that many buyers abuse and encourage others to do the same. -
Bid Retraction...not sure what is happening
kennybrooks replied to Hydro Thunder's topic in Auction Central
Unfortunately, this is a common practice when running ebay auctions. Lucky they retracted when they did and now with 1 hour and 1 minute before auction end, although I think you can now retract up until the last second even if you place you bid very early in the auction. I have no idea what their goals are to do this. -
No, it is original, there was a thread about it yesterday for the item in an estate sale. The seller actually has many, many valuable items, the sale is easily over $1 million if listed individually on ebay.
-
That is real. Looking through the entire sale, that is inventory that would be close to $1 million dollars on ebay if sold individually for everything. I have never seen such a collection available as for quantity, quality and rarity of items that are shown in the photos.

First CatTrax and now Tarzan this week? Where did you manage this amazing find?
-
So...I found a copy of Cat Trax today for the 2600

Looks like a great find. Where did you manage to get this? -
Ebay flexing on me, Update account details Your account is on hold
kennybrooks replied to nopaybob's topic in Auction Central
...because they suck and are managed horribly. Took me 6 months to get my business checking account to finally be approved by them when I was forced to changeover to managed payments. -
Since some of these say proto, this does not appear to be the usual bootleg eprom readers that pop up quite frequently. Hopefully one of the proto experts will see this post and respond.

Going to be a lot of surprised scalpers come January next year. There will be an immediate drop in sellers on ebay, mercari, etsy, etc because the change from $20000 and 200 transactions is a huge deal.

Additional Fees on Ebay that caught me by surprise this year already
kennybrooks replied to taxman's topic in Auction Central
Good luck on getting any assistance from someone in India who could really care less about your issues. Ebay support at this point is basically non-existent, as least for sellers. -
I am updating the NTSC Ultravision Karate Registry
kennybrooks replied to homerwannabee's topic in Rarity Guide
Not sure, but I know buyatari bought my t-handle ntsc way back in the early 2000s. It may be one of the ones that has traded hands and included in this list, if not there are 7 copies of this. -
R10 ATARI 2600 Ultravision KARATE T-Handle Cart

Is it PAL? -
Yes, activision did that a lot. I bought River Raid back in the day and it ended up being Spider Fighter, imagine my disappointment. There is no additional value I have been told as it is easy to swap those yourself if you wish nowadays.

This seller has a lot of vintage handhelds and more
kennybrooks replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
They are also the same cosmos systems on auction. I think he plans to end the auctions early, but I thought ebay had started preventing that within a certain time frame? They have 14 hours left now. -
Lochjaw in this buy it now

Looks real to me and whoever bought it. -

Heads-up warning: eBay now requiring a Photo ID
kennybrooks replied to Blazing Lazers's topic in Auction Central
You will end up doing it, so you might as well get it over with. Ebay is quite incompetent, as you already know, and their customer support for sellers is basically non existent. -
FS: GameCube, PSP, WII Consoles and more
kennybrooks replied to Everett1954's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
How do you like selling on etsy? -
I would blame this more on ebay's failure to follow its own rules. If you have a gut feeling about this seller, I would go with that. I have had idiots do this to my items in the past so it would just be that, for whatever inane reason they did it for.
-
It would be interesting to know the estimated cost of each project.
-
Back when this was first listed in the early 2000s, they were correct. This is the same listing they used from back then.

You must have hit the black star feedback level.

Bad when a 'charity' (goodwill is not a charity) has to implement a reserve for greed.
