Thanks i can ask him that. btw there's also a new 7800 game that's based on my show,it's been selling pretty good. The game design was done by AA's own Frankodragon,I drew the label. Just signed a bunch of carts lately to some people too. Here's a sample of the gameplay! lol

Any NES song requests for my podcast with Thora Birch tomorrow? Again also very stoked to be speaking to both Dan Aykroyd and John Cleese soon.. What is the greatest scene in Holy Grail? Should I ask Dan about his thoughts on the Ghostbusters NES game???

That means Atari 2600 + Combat counts as 1 gaming experience. And SNES + FZero as another.
And anytime an emulator is installed and kept it counts as one experience.
Even with that disadvantage in how they're tallied that a huge advantage.
And you can bet that there are more MAME installations then there are arcade game cabinets.

Got a response from The Who's Pete Townshend today! Going over some details now about his upcoming appearance on my podcast. Other than that congrats to AA's very own Retrogamer81081 for completing his 7800 homebrew game called Chicago Basement. So nice to have sent me a copy as I will be reviewing the game at some point on my show. I am happy to review anyone else's homebrews, just send them over and I'll mention them on the air!!!

don't get all the hate towards the Atari 5200..sure the controllers suck if they don't work, but when they do...OMFG does that system rock lol. Wayyy better than NES and I know alot of ppl wouldn't agree but oh well..(there's more sh-tty games for NES) ;p

Preach it Sister! The NES is waay overrated. Atari's star had fallen considerably by the late 80's(sadly), and Nintendo profited greatly from the vacuum. They had Super Mario, Zelda, Tetris, and some great Arcade ports, but what followed was a crap-storm of vapid, mediocre, side-scrolling rubbish. For me, the 5200 is a superior gaming experience by comparison in every conceivable way, from the vibrant colors to the sharp graphics, straight forward game-play, and high quality games.

atariron...yea totally agree with you 100%!! TBH...when NES came out and Atari stopped supporting the 5200 in favor of the 7800(which imo is no way better than the 5200), I remember when I was little feeling really disappointed. Grew up playing the 5200 and no way did the NES top what the 5200 did in the early 80's. Sure alot of the Capcom titles,Super Mario,Metroid and Zelda are legendary but you're right, what came after those really sucked. Atari 5200 does have better co...

When I'm backstage at the Ozzy show in a few months,I'm also going to meetup with Adam Wakeman the keyboardist!!! \m/ Btw, what's your favorite all-time Ozzy song???
-
i like and collect alot of video formats (super8,Betamax,VHS,CED,LD,DVD,blu-ray..)..but personally Betamax is my favorite..someone mentioned earlier that VHS movies are easier to find.True, but when it comes to quality over quantity I like Beta better. if you're into classic 70's and 80's movies,Beta is the way to go imo(and they are easy to find on eBay). VHS has a wider selection of 90's movies but not really a fan of the 90's..
