  1. I just sold a game just now and the person who bought it says he loves my art on the label!!! :D  :P  :lolblue: :rolling:

Anyways I'm definitely in a great mood now. Thanks to those who bought my game here, thank you. It's kinda sad tho that some are a tad disappointed of the label art,but that's cool I respect your opinions.

To say you hate my artwork is a bit strong though...that's not very nice, and if you hate it that bad you wouldn't have bought it in the first place!

Haha tough crowd in here though... It's nice to be passionate about games, but when it gets to trying to insult someone personally that's just lame. Altering my artwork without my permission and without any real love to it IS an insult. You gotta be smoking crack if you think so in so's rendition of my label was any good,he butchered it up!!!! No respect for my radio show logo,etc... Hell nah.... Anyways I'm really happy now thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. There are great games out there, classics even, with much worse label art than mine...

Mega Man 1 for the NES for example.

I can imagine some uptight nerd hatefully writing letters to Capcom now and asking them to change it. Haha,it's actually kinda funny.

I'll rub it in and say I'm not ever gonna change it. I'll leave it be so it annoys the few pundit trolls chiming in. And yea that's an anime drawing of me flipping the bird in British. That goes out to all the hataz here :P

Actually the artwork and concept of my game is based on my webcomic, that is based on my radio show....

  3. Haha all nitpicking over the label!

    LOL!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, asides from what it seems like I am being ganged up on here by few people with nothing else to do but nitpick on something soo small...

On the contrary, I have received much more praise over my artwork on the label, that outnumbers the posters here saying it's bad. I know a small group of posters do not like me here, and maybe this is your chance to say something negative to me.

Carry on. I AM NOT CHANGING THE LABEL FOR ANYONE,AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT MOVE ON. Actually there are much worse labels than mine, and actually it is not bad. That is just your opinion, and opinions are like a--holes and I see some posting in this thread.

Nitpicking on something so small, sheesh. You must not like alot of games than, how pedantic. I accept criticism that is friendly, but not like how that person said it.

  4. No I am not 12,but maybe you are since you are siding with a person with such a mentality..

Also he is altering and displaying an image that I copyrighted. I don't care if you don't like my label either, not everyone who bought my game thinks the way you do though, but displaying and altering an image that is copyrighted without permission of the owner is grounds for being sued. I've already called this to the attention of the mods.

That is NOT constructive criticism btw. His tone is not friendly at all,so therefore his input in this thread is not welcome.

  5. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: LOL ahh feeling great today. Gotta take the time and say thanks to all the people who have purchased my game so far and left me good feedback.

Gotta say comparing my game to Hollywood Brawler is rather lame. Not even the same game at all,and to say it is a hack is obviously an unfriendly attack towards myself and my colleagues. That is an insult. Maybe it has slightly the same backgrounds, but completely different characters, completely different story, and well a completely different game altogether. Actually my game is way better than that, and funny the little negativty it's receiving are from a few people here who are just judging it on the surface, and who have never even played the game.

For me,if I see some video footage on Youtube, and a certain game impresses me as "bad" on the surface, you know what??? I'd still tryout that game. That's just me. I'm a real gamer.I'll play f-cking anything, even if some online dorks from wherever say it's not a good game for whatever biased reason.

Anyways there will be a boxed version and there will be a sequel that is coming out for the NES and other systems. Thanks for your interest.

  6. Nice joke btw about the Jaguar forum. Honestly I'm not here to impress anyone. I don't give a shit what a few stalking fanboy loser trolls think lol!!! :lolblue: :lolblue: :lolblue: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: Their opinions aren't shit compared to my game. Back the f-ck off really, and if you actually really care about it than much make your own Goddamn game and let's see how well it responds. I would never wish bad success to another fellow Atari fan though, that's just lame and immature.

Anyways my game's having a sale now before it goes back to the regular price!!! :) I'm in a great mood, and just got off my cell with one of Nolan's people also. Welcoming him back to my show soon, along with my other friend David Crane. :music:

  7.

I think you are surely missing the point here. I'm sure people are happy with your game. Let me put it in a different perspective here.

If a game is sold w/a normal label and people get that item, sure they are happy with what they bought because it is well what they bought. Now if that same game is being sold w/a holographic label I'm sure those people would be happier with what they feel is a better label.

Game play has nothing to do w/appearance. I'm sure many of your sales are coming from people whom know who you are. However I sell online for a living and pictures and appearance is number one. As far as games go people believe label quality is more important than the game itself. I have literally had people tell me that game labels are the most important part of the game.

I think if you were to design a different label, that would appeal to an audience whom doesn't know you. I think you would likely sell more games than you currently are. So yes I think your artwork while maybe you love it, is not really that appealing to most people.

Eh that's just your opinion, and while I respect it's your opinion I really don't agree with what you are saying. you are nitpicking on something that is very minor. Heck I don't even see it. There's nothing wrong with the cover design and that's that. I am NOT going to change it just because a few people don't happen to like it for whatever nitpicking reason they can find. Meh. What few negative criticisms people have here are not going to hurt my sales either, nor is it going to stop me from producing more games.

Some people don't like Van Gogh's paintings and other's would spend millions of dollars on them. So a few people, aren't satisfied with it design wise, try to tell me to stop what I am doing and listen to their narrow minded opinions? Screw that. Take my friend Howared Scott Warshaw for example.... Many people hate the game E.T. for the Atari 2600,call it the worst game of all-time or whatever, and yet others praise it and say it's not bad, heck some even say it's the greatest thing they've ever played.

Look. You haven't played my damn game yet than don't argue with me. I can pick out games that are much worse than mine, some of which I am sure are sitting in your pristine well manured game collections right now. Because anyone trying to start an argument with me here over surface bullsh-t is nothin' but a troll. Most likely just very jealous of my game lol, crying in their mommie's basements, wondering why they can't get laid on a Friday night. For reals don't some of these trolls have anything better to do than pull on my pigtails?? Funny though, the poster all attacking my thread here well he is banned from it lol.

Got nothing nice to say??? Than don't say it!!! Simple as that. I'm enjoyng life. I love my game and many others do,and if nobody else doesn't get that vibe then they can just screw themselves. I'm friends with Nolan Bushnell too,who was also on my radio show, and he also has nothing but praise for my game. I'd rather listen to his opinion than some smalltime troll here.

  8. You keep saying there's nothing wrong with it, yet multiple people have echoed how unprofessional it looks, so when will you realize you are in the minority on thinking the cover is a-ok? It's a nice start, but it's amazing to me that you were comfortable with that low-quality box being sold.

Uh there is nothing wrong with it. I've sold over 20 copies so far,and everyone has bought my game are nothing but satisfied with my game. Please read my real reviews on my eBay feedback, don't listen to what some troll says, and I am NOT in the miniority when it comes to my own art and cover art. Art is not a sport, so therefore I have every right to defend what's real.

My friend HSW,who was on my podcast before(which this game is based upon), has nothing but love for my game and loves the art I did for it. I can think of way worse cover arts than my own, such as Mega Man 1 for the NES. The cover for Time gal on Sega CD has really bad art. So there. I don't take your criticism seriously. Nothing but being a hater. Seriously quit drinking on the Hatorade trolls!! You ain't sh-t compared to my game, and well if you are that serious than make your own game yourself and let's see how well it responds lol. I'm not trying to compete with anybody either, just making art for the sake of making art.

  9. I have no opinion on this one way or the other but the " It's like doing a book report based on the book cover " comment is not accurate since he can see the game play footage . I would say "it is like doing a book report of the book that someone else read to you" ... so it is not really idiotic, just saying .  Carry on people :waving:

Wrong. There is much more depth to this game than what some of these smalltime critics see on the surface. That's why I used the book report analogy. There is an ending to this game,it has a story and a concept, and while the graphics maybe slightly similar to another game,it is a still a completely different game with completely different characters.

Listen, you have to admit that the game Mouse Trap is similar to Pac-Man due to it's maze motif, but they are completely different. You don't hear real gamers complain about games with slight similarities, you will only hear it from the trolls crying in their mommie's basement like some of these trolls who are attacking my thread here.

Anyways on a good note, I just got an email from my good friend Howard Scott Warshaw congratulating me on my game!!! So take that troll ass haters!!!

  10. Seriously what's wrong with these people!? Jealousy is an ugly trait!!!

Firstly again, how in the hell can you judge a game without playing it????

Your opinion of the graphics...That's just your opinion!!!! And no it is NOT a hack of any other game. It may contain slight similarities, but it is not a hack of anything,it is completely different.

If anybody gets a chance, please read the real reviews on my eBay feedback. Many people are very happy with this game! :) I have received absolutely no complaints from the 20+ people woh have purchased this game.

Anybody who judges a game without playing it really is not a real gamer imo,and nor are you an expert of anything but complaining about stuff that's superficial. Tha's just you're Goddamn opinion based on your own bias. No need to harrass me either. Anyone that talks trash about my game without playing it,well your argument is rather moot. It's like doing a book report based on the book cover. How idiotic is that??

  11. You should upload this to The Cover Project. I don't do Photoshop and am in no way an art person, but I bet someone there would make it look more natural, and may even make a real UGC cover for it. Just a thought. A lot of us like game cases. Most of my games are in them and the original boxes I have are stashed in other, bigger boxes.

Again there is nothing wrong with the cover art,so no need to run it by someone else. Actually very proud of that drawing, and personally one of the best 7800 covers I've seen. Funny you also mention Photoshop. I am an artist and tend to use that alot.

  12. Haha, awesome! Glad to hear they made a game about you. Just snagged me a copy. 8)

I remember downloading some early episodes of your show but they were ruined by amp distortion (recording level set too high?). Anyway congrats. Glad I stumbled upon this...

Actually looking back at my earlier episodes,I know which one you're talking about. That night the station I was on were having technical difficulties and something was fried with their monitor,so that was not my fault. No I rarely prerecord my show also,it is all the way live. It is a radio show firstly, not a podcast.

I am not gonna sell myself short anymore btw!! :lolblue: Don't judge my show over that. Actually please checkout my latest episode with Joe Bob Briggs and GWAR.

Anyways the game is back up for sale now!! Had a great run selling the last three batches of carts, and feels great to hear people are enjoying the game. The initial sale is over and it is now at the regular retail price of $39.99. There will be a special limited edition boxed version also, and there is a sequel planned but for the NES. I will be designing that one this time.

  13. GameBoy- Hate the original monochrome screen itself! So hard to look at after long hours. Why didn't it already come with a backlight? :ponder: My friend thinks it's because it would've cost them too much, but still would've made sense if they had they backlight originally. Even more annoying are those tacky light add-ons they released for it!

Sharp Twin Famicom- I hate the eject button for the carts. It propells them way too hard that they might fall on the floor if I don't gently grab them once I press the button. Other than that I love everything else about that system.

Super NES - Why wasn't the color scheme based on the original Super Famicom? The lavender and purple buttons are sooo borring looking!!!!

    Atari 5200 4-Port - Can't stand the RF box!!!

Famicom - The RF box sucks. A/V mod please.
