  1. i was browsing through e-bay and found this!!! the description in the ad says: "Here we have a really neat looking video game system by Radio Shack. It has three games built into it that run on the same lines as the old Pong game. You can play tennis, hockey or handball. One or two players can play" looks really ghetto...
  2. The Launch Pad- Serramonte Mall,Daly City,CA (mid-late 80's now defunct) The Goldmine-Newpark Mall, Newark,CA(still running)
  3. Ahh Final Fintasy...... tho the ending for FF7 I fell asleep to lol. Sometimes I forget that's a game and it's like watching anime. I thought the ending for Super Mario Bros 2(US version) was good.
  4. Every Sunday they have this little flea market nearby my house and recently I found a nintendo Starfox gamewatch for just 5 dollars.... I like playing it,it has cute sounds...one I'd like to find tho is the Legend of Zelda one they made,i would not only play that but I would actually wear it. edit- was'nt a wristwatch but my favorite game and watch from Nintendo was Snoopy Tennis. Gawd that game rocked.
  5. Count me in as a fan but when I was like 9 years old I had no clue how to play it ,kept falling into pits and got bored ....but back then I never thought it was at all that bad. There are many NES games that are just downright awful lol....like the LJN X-men game, gawd now that game really bites and I think LJN should have buried that in a desert. Now that I understand the gameplay E.T. definitely rocks...... I looove the title screen. So ahead of it's time for '83. and when you think about it, that game designer had real skills to comeup with E.T. in such a short amount of time. edit- I actually like TCM for 2600! but Custer's Revenge I'd say is one of the dumbest and worst games ever. Whoever came up with that one had issues lol.
  6. I remember Pitfall 2 was really hard to play( those darn bats!)....I found this on Youtube tho and thought for such an early game, this has one of the beautiful video game endings.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoIzmkLl5p0 ...and this one is hilariously bad .... I know some people who think the NES is way better than Atari but looking at that game ending reminds me Nintendo indeed had it's share of really awful games.
  7. I always thought Legend of Zelda had the most beautiful packaging ever. It was a surprise back in 1987 to open up the box and it was a gold plated cartridge!....the instruction booklet was well done too.....
  8. Wow I never knew that was possible! I'd like to see someone go on the internet using an Apple 2,that would be trippy
  9. i thought the design for turbo grafx was okay...there portable handheld madeup for it i was doing some research and found this...... (i think the fairchild channel F looks more like a weird 8-track player and the controller, uhh looks interesting)
  10. lol awww ur sweet!

  11. I loove the Atari 2600 woodgrain....but the 1986 under fifty bucks version I was really bored with. It just looked like a smaller version of the 5200. edit- I love the controllers for the European and Japanese version of the Super NES wayy better. Those buttons look pretty. Makes me want to pick it up and play it.
  12. My alltime Arcade coinop favorites would have to be: Gauntlet 2 Quartet Centipede A.P.B. 720 Dragon's Lair Rampage Crystal Castles Mappyland Ms.Pac-man Pac-man Plus Mr.Do's Castle Bust-A-Move (the puzzle game not the dance one) Street Fighter 2:Championship Edition Darkstalkers Killer Instinct San Fransisco Rush T-Mek
  13. I never liked how the Super Nintendo looked compared to the Super Famicom. Looks really bland in comparison. Ohh I love how the original Sega Genesis looks tho! I always thought the headphone jack with the volume control was really neat.
  14. I remember Space invaders was called TI Invaders lol. I also remember a game called Hunt the Wumpus. Wow now that's nostalgic! It was some sort of trippy maze game.
  15. Any fans of this old computer??? Besides the Atari 5200 my family also bought this system in the early 80's. I remember really liking some of the games like A-Maze-Ing, Munch man,and Space Invaders.... I liked typing in the Basic program too.
  16. Actually I just now bought a copy from that Atari2600.com online store yay!! Came out to just 21 dollars after shipping, pretty good compared to ebay. anyways thanks for telling me about that place
  17. I think it would be funny if someone made Super Mario Bros. for Atari or Coleco.
  18. Hello I accidently discovered a code awhile back while playing Arkanoid on my 8-bit NES. You need to do this with controllers that have turbo buttons tho..... While you're in the first level, hit pause and press down on the turbo buttons, that would instantly take you to the next level....I was able to skip through levels by doing this. Does anyone else know about this???
  19. Hi!! I just got an Atari a few months ago soo I don't have alot of games so far but my rarest game is Star Wars the Arcade Game complete with the box and instructions. I don't play that one much tho :-/ my favorite game right now is Dig Dug...is Dig Dug rare??? My family had Congo Bongo and Pitfall 2 while I was growing up tho lol.
