Yes, defender on the 5200 is nice, I really like how the 5200 colors like, but by default shouldn't the atari 800 be better due to controls? Or was using the smart bomb and warp really awkward

Wouldn't the 5200 version be better because of the controls? You are using a controller that has two buttons - one for fire and the other for smart bombs.

yeah but that non self center stick, though I guess that can be corrected with a third party control... hmmm that is a puzzler
