@Hookem: early consoles and 8-bit computers simply get more and more ignored at shows. People don't understand or appreciate them. And they let their kids pound on increasingly fragile equipment that's increasingly expensive to repair or replace.

Whether you like Facebook or not, it really has taken over the function of what a forum used to provide for a lot of people. Among the Facebook advantages is more immediate gratification, while some of the disadvantages include difficulty in searching for past content and some content getting pushed down before its time. Even the AtariAge Facebook group is quite active.
