I'm usually done in about 20 minutes. Just need to trim around the edges. Tired of the gas weed whacker that is a chore to get started and maintained.

My Black and Decker surprised me with how well it does for a battery powered unit. Do the edging on 1.2 acres with it.

I have a Scott's brand trimmer from Menards and a Hyper Tough just bought from Walmart. Thought the Scott's battery bit the dust after 4 years, but suddenly seems to be working now. Sprayed the battery terminals with contact cleaner last year... anyway, fully charged, the Scott's trimmer lasts about 20mins. Not sure how well the 20v Hyper Tough performs just yet.
